Finally high school football starts.:D This is the fourth straight year that these two teams have played in the opener with Crooksville winning the first three. Berne Union has there third new coach in those four years, he seems to be a good fit for the school. So whats everyone's thoughts on this one?

First off, wow, I didn't know we had a BU poster on here.

Second, I think if whats going on at BU is the same thats happening at Fisher Catholic, then Rockets could expect to see some momentum building and a good start under a first year head coach.

Shoot, if I ever went into the bleacher seats I would've been happy to discuss MSL Cardinal.

Who is returning for Berne Union and who are some of the new starters?

Who is the new coach? How has the team looked in scrimmages?

The new coach is Jason Sanders, who is a first year head coach. I think he was a defensive coordinator at Shelby High School.


As for the scrimmages they showed positives and negatives, which you get from every team. They will should have a lot of new starters this year.

I'm with you NCFan, hope they can get back to competing in what has become brutal MVL schedule for them. If my memory is intact, they started 5-0 last year then went 0fer the rest of the way.

Sheridan looked very impressive and Tri Valley shocked me (and UA). You will have a handfull with those two. Good luck!
