Columbus Crusaders 2011

Any info on this team?
Last season they went 8-2 losing to Martin's Ferry by eight points and to Linsly (WV),by 28.

They were able to defeat Columbus Bishop Ready by 21.

I watched them at the Grandview 7x7. They have good speed on the edges and aQb who throws a nice, accurate ball.

Being able to beat Ready this past season is hardly noteworthy. They were able to defeat a team going through a transition, that is it. The Crusaders have some talent but I see them taking some lumps especially once they team become a sanctioned OHSAA member.

How many starters do they have back. 8-2 is pretty good , and beat Ready the way they did is very good.

St. Charles has them on their schedule this year. Don't know why , but it should be interesting. Its a no win game for St. Charles and a season maker for the Crusaders.

tc I have a problem. Not sure who to root for. St Charles cause DeSales can use the points or the Crusaders cause I can't stand St Charles. Ah what the hell, we can always get points from somewhere else. GO CRUSADERS !!!!

te, I hear ya. Former Head Desales Wrestling and Asst. Football Coach Mike Stanely was the Head Coach from their start. I bet he wishes he had waited to retire . This is the game that can really put them on the map. Seen him and the Crusaders practing over at WC a few years ago. They were really working the kids hard.
