1. Trotwood - just may have the team this year to win a D 2 title
2. The Mac will be the Mac
3. Alter - will be Alter but will pass a bit more; the move to D3 may be the only thing that slows them down
4. Wayne - will be a solid D1 team but no return to state
5. Troy - best Troy team in years might win two playoff games
6. Butler Aviators - one of the best tackles in the state and a good qb. could sneak in the playoffs
7. Centerville - Best D1 team in Dayton; lets see if that's enough to beat the GCL teams and make a deep run in the playoffs
8. Tipp City - The move to D2 and limited numbers of upper classmen may snap a 6 year run in the playoffs. The Sophmore class seems to be loaded and will certainly improve in the next couple of years.

Carroll - move to D3, will it help?
CJ - new coach, any better?
Fairmont - same as usual?
Alter - do they need to pass?
Clinton Massie - D4, R16 is wide open, but is the timing right?
Centerville - will they pass more?

My prediction is that Massie will win R16 with Kenton moving to R14 and Alter moving to D3.

I agree. They were very strong last year and should come back this year.
I don't see anyone beating them to the regional. After that all bets are off.
Alter had a very tough game last year and pulled it out against Kenton (after years of success, we still have to beat the odds, Hmm...). I believe that is where the rubber meets the road. Will Kenton face CM later in the playoffs this year only time will tell. I would be looking for payback from last year.
No matter what it will be a good game if it happens.

It will be very tough for Tipp to make it to the playoffs in D2. Their schedule will hurt them unless they can knock off Milton in week 3 and then MU go on to finish 8-2 or better. Graham will stink, Greenville will be improved but schedule is murder, Tecumseh and the rest of the league is D3-4. So, very hard for them. They need to beef up that ooc schedule with some D1's and D2's. Troy will lose to Trotwood and finish 8-2. Butler will not make the playoffs in D2. I see Tipp dropping MU now that they are D2.

1. GWOC South will go to Springboro.
2. GWOC Central will go to Centerville.
3. GWOC North to Trotwood.
4. SWBL SW Division to Eaton.
5. SWBL Buckeye to Waynesville.
6. CBC Mad River to Ben. Logan
7. CBC Kenton Trace to Shawnee
8. CCC to Covington
9. MAC to Coldwater
10. Trotwood will win D2 State Title. Centerville will lose in the Regional Semi's, Alter will make it to the State Semis in D3, Waynesville will make it to the Regional Final in R16 losing to Massie. Versailles will make it back to the playoffs and shock everyone winning it's first State Title since Al Hetrick left in D5. D6 will belong to Lehman Catholic and Marion Local this year in the Dayton area.

1. GWOC Central: Centerville
2. GWOC North: Trotwood Madison
3. GWOC South: Lebanon
4. SWBL SW: Eaton
5. SWBL Buckeye: Carlisle
6. CBC Mad River: Urbana
7. CBC Kenton Trace: Tipp City
8. CCC: Covington
9. MAC: Coldwater
10. GCL: Alter
11. OHC: West Liberty Salem
12. Dayton Public: Dunbar
13. Fort Ancient Valley: Clinton Massie
14. Western Buckeye: Kenton

In DI, I expect the usual suspects with Northmont, Wayne, and Centerville battling for playoff spots. Centerville will have the best chance to go deep in the playoffs. In DII, Trotwood Madison is prime to make a state championship run. I like the Rams a lot. In DIII, we have a lot of new teams in this division. I expect Alter to show its dominance but will be challenged more than in DIV. I think the Knights will win R12. In DIV, everything is wide open in R16 with Alter and Kenton moving out. Clinton Massie should make a trip to the state semifinals to face Kenton. In DV, Coldwater should push to head to the state title. In DVI, I like Marion Local to be dominant.

No WAY Carlisle wins the Buckeye this year. Tipp is a shell of what they were last year and that wasn't real strong. They will finish around 5-5, 6-4 and that came from a coach at Tipp. Next year is Tipp's year around here. Waynesville will shock most and Carlisle's arrogance will lose some games for them vs. teams like Milton, Waynesville, Valley View and Franklin. I predict they start out the 2011 season with a loss to Franklin.

Freak,

I gotta admit that you have a feel for Tipp City that I probably don't have. Tipp City is traditionally no worse than 7-3 so that would be a pretty down year. We'll see about Carlisle, I'm believing they may have built a traditional power in the SWBL. No doubt that Waynesville will challenge them.
