7:30 p.m. kickoff at Sulsberger on Friday, though they may push it back another 30 minutes with the projected high heat that day.
Watched a little of the MV practice last night. Huge line with big, strong backs. Defensive unit should also be strong. Ought to make for a great game on Friday.

Hoar and Benner are the QB's for LC. Pretty scary combo if you ask me! I know Scott Cline will be there from Utica, and probably all of Heath and Licking Valley's senior linemen lol...My guess is that Britt Wilder will be a running back (NC) and Heights will have a few of their big name guys there. Past that, I have no clue. If memory serves me, the Advocate and Times Recorder both run a story the day before, or day of, the game that will have the full roster in it.

*Edit* just saw on the left hand side of this story, they will have a roster for sure later this week, my guess is thursday. This article also mentions Chase Redman (LV), Cole Gordon (Granville) and Chad Auber (Lakewood) will also be playing.

I can't wait to see Tregg Hall (L.V.) get a chance to run the ball again.

Frank Chambers (Morehead), Ben Schmidt (Prep School), Blake Ashbrook (Ashland), Taylor Atwood, and Patrick Benton (Dayton) are all playing from Johnstown

Lvalleydad, good point about Hall. I forgot that his injury last year was the reason that other players had to step up for LV in the run game, and he had several very good games before his injury. It sure will be nice to get to see him play one more time in a Panther jersey before he moves on, and I'm sure he's excited for that opportunity.
57chevy, yeah I was just about to ask who was playing from Johnstown, I know the Johnnies players have shown very well in this game the past few years. Nice to see so many players from the MBC being represented this year. Benton is a huge advantage for LC, and could be the difference if the game goes how is usually does and is close!
Anyone know who will be representing Northridge, Licking Heights, Watkins and Newark?
Obviously Granville, Licking Valley, Heath and Johnstown will be well represented, with what should be 5+ kids from each team. I believe Utica, Newark Catholic and Licking Heights should each have 3-4 kids there, though I am not sure who else is playing for Utica besides Hoar and Cline, possibly LB Cayman Paulsen and/or Lineman Connor Mulligan, and the 4 teams mentioned above will round out the roster with a few kids from each team. The one kid I'm hoping to see play that will fly under the radar is DeLane King from Lakewood. Anyone know if he's playing?
All I know is that LC should be absolutely stacked on offense. I've been attending this game for 10+ years and I can't remember a year they've had this much proven talent on offense, and BALANCE. 7 years combined starting experience in your 2 quarterbacks, well over 9,000 yards passing, 6,000 rushing and 150 career TD's for those two, throwing to the likes of those two trees from Heath at wide receiver (Roger Gleckler at 6'4 and Aaron Wolfe at 6'5), Josh McKenzie (Granville) and Scott Cline (Utica)...Britt Wilder (NC) and Tregg Hall (LV) anchoring the backfield, and all the big boys on the line from the MSL AND Johnstown's powerful linemen? I don't think 1 football is going to be enough :) Good problem to have!

Seeing Hoar play is going to be fun.
I'm sure he won't know what to do with a line in front of him that can actually block consistently :)

Hmmm... Wonder who the defensive starters are for LC. I would think Drumm, Robinson, Hunt, and maybe even Eckard for Heath will be there but what about everyone else?
I've been reading both counties papers and there has been a little bit of talk going back and forth. I just can't see Muskingum being able to contain all the weapons LC has but who knows. I think LC wins 17-14 in a good one.

The game often comes down to coaching and how serious the teams take practice, etc. Who is coaching for MV? I remember one year LC seemed to be loaded and ended up losing. Go LC!
