This kid is sick. He is insanely talented, quick and intelligent. The Buckeyes clearly missed on this one. I think Butch Jones just hit a home run and can thank Akise for his job security for the next four years. This kid is going to be ridiculous.

The 2012 and 2014 UC-OSU games just got really interesting...

A clear miss? He hasn't played a single college snap. Let that judgement come after he has played a full season.

I've seen too many can't miss prospects not pan out. I hope he does well for his sake but he will be stepping up in competition. UC always seems to give us an interesting game and I'm sure the next 2 will be no different. Now we need to schedule them in b-ball!

I'm not sure he is a "can't miss" type player. He is a really good high school player, but so are all the guys tOSU has in their freshman class coming in this fall. The coaching staff probably saw that they have 5 capable (meaning really good) RBs already on the team and two really good RBs committed from the Junior class. I would take Dunn and Ball over Teague any day of the week. I hope Teague has a good career at UC, but I don't question the coaching staff's decision not to offer him.

Go Bucks!!

1. Dunn
2. Teague
3. Ball

I haven't been that impressed with Ball as I have been with Dunn and Teague
But people have to realize Teague is not the prototypical RB that Ohio State recruits while the other two are. Teague will have an excellent career at UC.

Teague reminds me of Peak.
Who is a Cols. Boy who fit in real well with UC's offense the last 3 years.

I agree. UC's spread offense will be good for Teague. If you can get him in open space 1 on 1 with a defensive player, he's going to make you miss. He's doesn't have blazing speed but he's about as 'shifty' as any player I've seen.

It will be interesting with tOSU this year in the way they use Jamaal Berry and Jordan Hall. In the spring, they threw a lot of swing passes to them and ran them out wide. That would be the role Teague would be good at, but the advantage Berry and Hall have over Teague is they are 5'9/5'10 rather than 5'6 and they are closer to 200 than 165.

Isn't it Pead? Played in Columbus at Eastmoor I think.

How about giving us your "updated" thoughts on this statement?
