St. Henry (3-7)

* Players to Watch – QB Kyle Stahl (6-5, 225, Jr.), TE/LB/K Alex Post (6-2, 200, Jr.), DB Jordan Bender (6-0, 170, Jr.), DB Nate Uhlenhake (5-11, 160, Sr.), DL Dom Leugers (6-2 200, Jr.), WR Matt Osterholt (5-9, 165, Jr.), LB Steven Luttmer (5-11, 200, Sr.), DL Nathen Froning (6-0, 215, Sr.), OL Dylan Bruening (6-3, 230, Jr.), OL Ben Werling (6-1, 250, Sr.), OL Mitchell Rinderle (6-3, 240, Sr.)

* Outlook – The Redskins drop back down to D-VI where they’ve won half of their six state titles and look to add No. 7. Stahl is one of the state’s top QB prospects regardless of class and threw for 2,480 yards and 19 TDs last season. Post is one of the most versatile players in the MAC (76 tackles, 18 receptions, 232 yards, 21-25 PAT). Bender (38 tackles), Uhlenhake (39), Leugers (49), Luttmer (59) and Froning (39) are defensive veterans. Bruening, Werling and Rinderle anchor a sizeable OL. Head coach Jeff Starkey is 63-31 in seven years with St. Henry and owns two state titles (2004, 2006).

good luck St Henry! How does the dynamic of R24 change with St Henry's addition?

True, true...but I think this year will be extra crazy. And is this the year St. Henry beats Coldwater?

And is this the year St. Henry beats Coldwater?

The likelihood is about the same as Coldwater ever holding Ursuline to fewer than 350 yards rushing in a game.

Good luck St Henry. We both will have to wait until one more year before our teams are back on each others schedules.

I remember the days when St Henry and New Bremen played twice in the regular season for about four years.
