A Huber Heights nightclub may still go through with its plans to throw an “official graduation party” for former Wayne High School football players Braxton Miller and Tre Moore, but the organizers of the event will have to make do without the guests of honor.

An advertisement for the May 26 bash at the Heat nightclub appeared on the Facebook page of Moore, promising the appearance of the two stars and several musical guests. The price of admission was set at $10 for guys and $7 for women.

But both players graduated last winter and have begun their college careers — Miller at Ohio State and Moore at Northern Illinois — and would be in violation of NCAA rules if they knowingly allowed a business to use their names for profit.

And this how outsiders get kids in trouble. You can bet the NCAA will investigate.

Shocking that someone would try to take a shot at Tressel when he's down. Like Miller and Moore had any idea about this.

nightowl lets stick to facts, i made no mention of coach tressel, if you have some deep feelings of guilt being associated with the program and feel a need to protect you/them then that is your issue, i was just making a statement about a big time school having recruits with issues

I assume most recruiting classes at big schools have some recruits with issues. Just nature of the beast. When I played college football (and you can look at any recruiting class) the number of kids who actually make it all the way to graduation is not overly impressive. Probably out of a class of 24 you'll have 16 tops that stick it out all the way through.

think it varies a bit more depending on school and with APR they kinda got to watch themselves, but i got gist and see point
