Thoughts on guy in front row at clinics that runs same scheme as being discussed, and asks very particular unanswerable questions to look smarter than presenter.

do not understand, maybe the guy is just above the presenter, as far as knowledge

Paddling across Lake Wobegone, trying to make up for the days of their youth when they were just a mediocre athletes.

possibly but it does not matter what inspires you, as long as you are getting better

interesting, do you think some, although constantly improving will never really "get better"?

coaches that ask questions to let everyone know how smart they are?

maybe they have general desire to learn, not everyone knows it all

maybe, i think they are generally show boaters, and many times they paddle around the shores of the Lake Woebegone.

I like to ask questions in conjunction w how/what i coach (may come across as know-it-all , citing situations). But if it proves better or doesn't hold up I know where to improve and validation of what/how i'm coaching the kids.

No one knows everything. We all have to continue to learn and adapt. The guys that stay with the same thing over and over eventually get figured out.

hahahahha....Bob Lutz has really struggled with doing the same thing and not adapting much at all. A lot of coaches have done an outstanding job of figuring his system out and stopping them.
