I am using info from the Newark Advocate.

J-Town loses 15 seniors from the 2010 team. 7 starters on offense and 7 on defense has moved on.

SR-Matt Smith is back at QB-6-2-185
The running back slot looks strong with both Ross Franklin(5-10-200) and Nick Sadinsky5-10-170) returning.

It appears two off lineman will return
Center JR Tim Sayre 6-4 210 Center
Left Guard SR RD Willliams 5-9-230

Another O-Lineman returning is big Brandon Hollis 6-4-255(SR)

LB should be a strong area with 2 starters returning Corbin Grassman 6-2-220(JR) AND Steven Smith 5-8-146(Sr)

According to the Advocate 2 back up LB'S return Sheay Holter 5-9-200(sr) along with Drew Dague 5-11-155(sr) Dague is listed as a WREC/DB on the roster but on the depth chart he is slotted as a 2nd team LB.

Three D-Lineman return DE Joey Dismuke 5-9-186(sr)
Nick San Flipo DT 5-9-225(SR)

Harley O'Flaherty 6-0-160 (SR)

I am using info from the Newark Advocate. (I just updated what you started)

(Sr. Sheay Holter runs hard and strong could also spell Franklin or FB...
ADD: "Jr. FB - Adam Carter returns (Sr. Nick SanFillipo can also play FB)

Center JR Tim Sayre 6-4 210 Center (can play all positions on O-line)
Left Guard SR RD Willliams 5-9-230 (family moved so Sayre could move back to O- line after starting at guard as a frosh and played DE as a soph.)
Another O-Lineman returning is big Brandon Hollis 6-4-255 - SR
TE - Sr. Harley O'Flaherty (Filled in for Atwood after he went down with inj.)
Players returning that will compete for C, G, G, T:
Jr. - Dakota Crawford - 6'2 300+ (played DT last year)
Sr. - Sam Filous - 6'2 240 ish
Sr. - Justin Campbell 6' 220 ish
Jr. - Brandon Dingess 5'10 220 ish
Sr. - Jordan Pickering 6'1 230 ish (played DT/DE last year)
Sr. - Tyler Thomson 6' 300 ish (did not play last year)

WR's that return: Sr. Nick Cote, Jr. Tyler Thompson (Back up QB), Jr. Bailey Duncan, Jr. Nick Sadinsky, Sr. Drew Dague

Defense:
LB should be a strong area with 2 starters returning Corbin Grassman 6-2-220(JR) AND Steven Smith 5-8-146(Sr)

According to the Advocate 2 back up LB'S return Sheay Holter 5-9-200(sr) along with Drew Dague 5-11-155(sr) Dague is listed as a WREC/DB on the roster but on the depth chart he is slotted as a 2nd team LB.

Three D-Lineman return DE Joey Dismuke 5-9-186(sr)
Nick SanFillipo DT 5-9-225(SR)
(Dakota Crawford and Tim Sayre played a lot on the D-line last season, Jordan Pickering also saw some time)

Harley O'Flaherty 6-3-210 (SR) - primarily only played Offense (WR/TE)

In the secondary return starter Nick Sadinsky (Jr.) Free Safety and Tyler Thompson (Jr.) DB - rotated in/lead team in picks

Overall there are a lot of guys returning that are capable and ready to step in to a starting role! Lots of reasons to be excited! Go Johnnies!

NCF, are you doing one of these for all the county schools? That would be awesome, just as a suggestion :)

And I look for Johnstown to be the only real threat to challenge Fredericktown this fall for the league title. Utica loses a lot and just don't see them having the athletes to compete with those two schools with what they have returning. Danville may have a shot with a bunch of sophmores and juniors who have all got a ton of playing time the past 2 seasons and Ed is always tough leading the Blue Devils.

Yes I am going to try.
The Advocate has no hgt or wgt for the Licking Heights players so I will not be able to include it when I do them.

I hope to have another one up today.

Good luck to Utica this season.

I heard RB Ross Franklin broke the school record 100 meter dash. He ran a 10.8 (2 were tied at 10.9)

How many kids will go down the road (to Johnstown) now that Northridge doesn't have sports?

That's a great question.
Where else could they go?
Utica?

Im guessing none since Johnstown doesnt allow open enrollment.
But I just heard Northridge is having sports but pay to play. The amount is whatever it cost to self support? any word on that?

Johnstown has open enrollment but I heard they put a cap on the number of applications they will take

The Saga continues in Jtown. They still have not worked out the contract for Coach Carter. Rumor has it the board only wants to give him 10 out of his 24 years of teaching experience which would result in a huge paycut. With only 4 board members there tonight (I think the principal and super-intendent were also absent) the board split vote to approve several football coaching contracts with the next board meeting scheduled for August including a few varisty assistants so several coaches cannot coach camps until board approved.

57 if I lived up there I would be letting some schoolboard members know they will not be renewed.

The johnstown school board is a joke, what are they thinking ? Do they expect these assitants to just sit back and wait it out ? These coaches are the backbone of the program, they are great coaches and even better men !
John Davis and Terry Holter should step down and get the heck out of town !

All the coaches worked camp, I think the assistants will all be voted on again in August. So I think they are all good to go, but anything could happen...
