I did not see this on any of the three forums, so here goes.
Sheridan has played a weak schedule, but is averaging over 50 points per game (with the starters playing no more than 2 1/4 qtrs in any of their games) and giving up around 7 points per game. The offense is very experienced and has given the generals a very good passing game. They have been very balanced with the running attack and passing attack. They give multiple formation looks, mostly out of the gun. With no competitive games so far, you really cannot tell what their "real" bread and butter is.
The Sheridan "D" is much like the offense in that they have not been tested. The secondary is much stronger than usual with a lot of experience. They have been very good all year. In fact, the starting D has not allowed a score this year. But, you again can go back to the weak schedule.
Tri-Valley has been opposite of Sheridan as far as scheduling. They have played Upper Arlington to a last second loss. UA scores with under 10 seconds left to get the win. They also defeated Dover. They have been tested and pretty well passed the tests. This is a young team with a lot of speed. The offense runs spread. This year they rely on the run more so than the pass. However, the sophmore qb does have a very good arm for his age and experience. TV has a very veteran core of WR's and a great line. The key will be attacking the outside of the Sheridan D.
The defense has SPEED. The secondary was a ? at the start of the season, however, that question was somewhat answered against a pretty strong passing team in Dover.
Should be a great atmosphere and a great game. I am taking Sheridan in a close one.
