The starting QB for the Madison Plains Golden Eagles will be out for the remainder of the season after being involved in a single car crash on Sunday evening.
Seth Casto, on his way home Sunday was taken by life flight to Grant Hospital after the car he was driving flipped 2 times into a field and came to rest on the roof. Seth suffered a severe concussion and had 3 staples put in his head. Seth is at home today and resting not sure when he will return to school but the season is over for him except for helping out coaching on the sidelines.
While Seth was very lucky, one offical said if he was not wearing his seat belt he would most likely of been killed.
While the Eagles were 0-7 on the season, they have a game coming up on Sat. morning in Dayton against 0-7 (D-2) Meadowdale, a game that is very winable for Plains.
Casto will have to be a coach for new QB Ryne Davis if he is able to return this week.
With Casto being still a sophomore and in his 2nd season as a starter he still has plenty more football to play.
