Congratulations Ron Hinton on your first victory in Chillicothe. Portsmouth under estimated your kids last night. Because of that they were throttled. It is so refreshing to see improvement in our team from week to week. This team is much more disciplined as evidenced by fewer penalties especially at the most inopportune times. Anyone that seriously follows Cavalier football is seeing great improvement from game to game. Now if we can get more kids to come out for the program. As a fan I enjoy the passing game but I enjoy winning even more. So if the running game with a great defense wins championships, as Gary Lewis and the Playboys sang, you can count me in. Keep up the great work coach and staff. PS Portsmouth Trojan Fans don't ever under estimate the Cavaliers. You do so at your own peril. Cannot wait for hoops.

Congratulations to Coach Hinton on getting that first win at Chillicothe. It sounds like they'll be a bunch more before the year ends.

Congratulations Coach Hinton!! If the numbers show up and buy in to the program, Ron will make them winners. He specializes in that! It all starts up front. He has NO tolerance for mediocrity, or laziness. Every player needs to do what they are taught and the wins WILL come....not before. It is also about TEAM.....not individuals. Most teams in southern Ohio worry too much about individual players IMO. Once they buy in, and quit worrying about individual stats, the program will move forward. This is what winning tradition is all about. The players must be totally for the team FIRST. Best of luck to the staff and players at Chillicothe in building a winning program!!

It's weird seeing Ron anywhere but on the Amanda sidelines but congrats on the win coach.
