Believe it or not, things usually are the way they are for a reason. In this case, there is a very good reason why Dayton Christian is not in the top 10. Let's leave it at that.

Sorry, didn't mean to be misleading... but Dayton Christian was not excluded because of their quality. There are other reasons why they were not considered.

I am sure if Dayton Christian continues to win, the coaches will vote them into the rankings. So far, their 6-0-1 record is very impressive, especially with a tie with Alter (0-2-1) and a win over Carroll (4-1-1). But to look further, the other wins up to this point are over generally weaker opponents:

Sidney Lehman 3-2-2
Troy Christian 1-3-0
Milton Union 1-5-0
Franklin Monroe 3-2-0
Yellow Springs 0-4-2

Opponents' overall record to date: 12-19-6

Unfortunately, soccer is like bowling, you can only knock over the pins they setup! So, Dayton Christian has done their part so far and if they continue to do so, the area coaches will push them up in the polls :)
