I will say that Defiance is the clear favorite, although that score vs. Maumee from back in December is interestingly close. Maumee has some excellent athletes and I think the Panthers will beat the Golden Bears simply because the Panthers have a much more challenging schedule and that competition versus the mainly Division I opponents will be the difference. There will be a lot of purple and gold in the gym for that contest.
As for the Wauseon v. Napoleon game, I will give Napoleon a slight edge, but it could be a game that will be decided by whomever has the ball last.

Defiance and Wauseon made it out.....
I have to admit to being a little surprised at the margin in the Wauseon / Napoleon game...... I really believed it would be much closer....
Good luck to both teams the rest of the way

I was beyond surprised. 4 points in the whole 1st qtr. Then 2 points in the 2nd. Whew! 0 for 12 from 3 point range--no offensive rebounds until the 3rd qtr? They couldn't have beaten a 4th grade team. Wauseon dominated big time.
Napoleon suffered from zero inside game despite having a 6'6", 6'4" and 6'2" starter, plus a 6'0" kid that can dunk. They don't know how to receive the ball down low and make a play. They don't pick and roll. I mean pick...like actually make contact with a man.
When the offense shoots, everyone starts back-peddling like they're sure it's going in. No chance for a rebound or easy put-back.
They just didn't get after it...at all. Even the coach said it was the worst effort he'd ever seen.
