She is still with us and in good health, I believe picaso was just talking about her choice to stop playing. Also, and I'm in no way trying to bash Jackie who really was a great player, but to say the teams success was entirely due to her is a going a little overboard, don't you think? Anna Geissbuhler is one of the best girls in Ohio, and there was a lot of talent on the team in general.

Do you hear yourself right now? If Anna is good, or at least as good as they are saying she is...she would not be "nothing without jackie". Maybe Jackie being good helped the team out, but a good player will be a good player no matter what. But they can excel with other good players, which could be the case. Chinese womens gymnastics team...ha.

I agree with Picasso. Jackie Paplaczyk was the best thing to ever happen to girls lacrosse. She taught the Wotown girls everything they know. They could have won states this year if she would have been playing. Lost another good player to the tragic dangers of what is girls lacrosse.

FYI: At the middle school level of play, they will accept being called "girls". In my experience, at the high school and college level, they prefer, as they should, to be called "women".
