Ohio community raises over $400,000 in less than five months for field turf

May 18, 2013 Philo head coach Dirk Lincicome called it “pretty powerful stuff.” You’ll agree. Muskingum County’s unemployment rate isn’t tops in Ohio, but it’s up there, ranking 11th out of 88. That’s one reason it’s so impressive that the Franklin Local community has raised $400,000 in donations for new field turf. Also impressive? Not a single district dollar will be spent on the project. The campaign began Jan. 10. |
