Mason's Miller tosses perfect game

Mason senior pitcher Christin Miller thew a perfect game on Wednesday night as the Comets defeated Princeton 9-0, according to cincinnati.com.

“It’s the first perfect game by a Mason pitcher that I can remember since I’ve been coaching here,” Mason coach Brian Castner said.

Miller recorded 15 strikeouts in the game out of the 21 batters she faced.

Miller went 4-for-5 at the plate for the Comets.

The Comets are 9-5 overall and 6-1 in the GMC. Mason will host Colerain on Friday afternoon.
