MaxPreps & JJHuddle Ohio HS Weekly Awards

This school year we are pleased to announce that MaxPreps and JJHuddle have partnered together to award weekly player of the week honors in several boys and girls sports.

Each week during the fall, winter and spring sports seasons (regular and post), we will hold a fan-generated contest to tab a weekly Player of the Week in the sports of football, basketball (b/g), soccer (b/g), volleyball, baseball and softball. Each weekly winner will receive awards (bracelets and certificates).

How it works?

Fans will nominate top performances and nominees will also be selected from those schools that report stats on MaxPreps. We will announce the weekly finalists (up to 10) on MaxPreps and JJHuddle every Tuesday and voting will be conducted in a special poll. Voting will cease at noon on Monday, after which the winners will be announced.

This team has had an amazing turn around and this kid hasnt been getting the recognition he deserves. He is truly a versatile athlete not only in football but track as well he was 4th in triple jump in Ohio at states and 5th for the long jump in the state this past winter/spring season as a junior. The track team won the outdoor state meet in Ohio as well as the OCC, Regionals, and Districts this past season. This season so far in football after being 1st team all conference last year has on an 0 and 10 team. The team has now went 3 and 0 for the first time in over a decade. He is the main contributer for offense so far. Khalil Jones has played multiple positions to help his team win. He has 9 tds in the last 3 games around 600 all purpose yards so far. He plays quarterback, slotback, kick and punt returner, and free safety. I invite ylu to review his hudl highlights to consider him. Despite his team losing a teammate and friend who passed away this June from drowning they have came together to succeed for their fallen friend. Khalil was his mentor and was grooming him to take his place after graduating this year. To say the least what this team has been through to go 3 and 0 this season with new offense and a whole new coaching team I say this is truly remarkable and speaks to his character as he leads this team on amd off the field. http://www.hudl.com/profile/4097471/khalil-jones

    Thanks for your time
