JJHuddle joins MaxPreps, becomes part of nation’s largest prep website

Big news? Yes.

Starting today, July 1, JJHuddle is a part of the MaxPreps family.

Yes, that MaxPreps.

This is a big day for the Buckeye State.

Through the years, JJHuddle has grown from an independent website used to report football scores to a statewide news source and member of the Bucknuts and 247sports families. Now the site joins the nation’s largest high school sports website.

So what’s that mean? Plenty.

It means more visibility and promotion for the schools, athletes, coaches and communities in Ohio. Their accomplishments will now reach a much larger audience across the state, and around the country. Ohio’s high schools deserve this.

Internally, the site will undergo a few changes.

Over the next few weeks leading up the 2016-17 school year, you will see some features change and others disappear. The ultimate goal is for JJHuddle to join with MaxPreps to offer Ohio High School sports fans, participants, schools and media a single-source for comprehensive statewide prep coverage. Scores, stats, schedules, rosters, polls and weekly awards will be the focus.

MaxPreps is the nations most visited site for high school sports and annually covers over 11,000 teams and over 100,000 games in Ohio. Those numbers will grow.

An official release from CBS and MaxPreps is forthcoming.
