You voted, you decided…who had Ohio’s best individual performance? The Week 10 competition for the Ohio National Guard JJHuddle Ohio HS Football Player Of the Week is over. And it was a GREAT one. Over 9,000 votes were cast and this week’s winner is…North Baltimore’s Lane Bishop.
Bishop will receive a personalized banner suitable for hanging, certificates and bracelets from the Ohio National Guard and JJHuddle.

Week 10 Winner
Lane Bishop, North Baltimore
QB accounted for 529 yards of offense and seven TDs in a 54-20 win over Vanlue. He completed nine-of-17 passes for 294 yards and three TDs and ran the ball 15 times for 235 yards and four TDs. He also tied a state record for the longest rushing TD with a 99-yard fourth quarter TD run.
Tyler Showalter, Wayne Trace
WR converted to QB shined in first game under center. Ran for 217 yards and six TDs on 15 carries and completed 16-of-24 passes for 206 yards and two TDs in a win over Paulding.
Week 2 Winner
Michael Davis, Meigs
Senior pulled off an impressive double by becoming just the seventh player in state history to rush for eight TDs or more in a game and the seventh player in state history to score nine TDs or more in a game in a 79-69 win over Fairland. Davis ran for 352 yards and eight TDs on 37 carries. He was also three-of-four passing for 36 yards and had three receptions for 54 yards and a TD.

Brett Freeman, Toledo Christian
Senior QB threw for 361 yards and accounted for seven TDs (ran for four and threw for three) in a 49-42 win over Elmwood.
Week 4 Winner
RJ Jacobs, Garaway
Threw for 335 yards and six TDs in a 42-20 win over Ridgewood.
Week 5 Winner
Brad Stine, Milton-Union
RB ran for 380 yards and five TDs in a 57-28 win over Preble Shawnee. The Bulldogs rushed for 546 yards as a team.
Week 6 Winner
Nick Such, Pymatuning Valley
Senior RB ran for 357 yards and four TDs in a 26-12 win over Windham.
Week 7 Winner
DJ Braithwaite, West Jefferson
RB/LB ran for 208 yards and five TDs on 19 carries and had 11 tackles in a 42-7 win over Columbus Academy.
Week 8 Winners
Scott Seymour, Holland Springfield
Junior QB tied a school record, broke another and accounted for seven TDs (four passing, three rushing) in a 55-52 win over Maumee. Seymour, who already owns the school record for career passing yards, set the record for career TD passes (now has 32) and tied the record for TD passes in a season (18).
Jacob Basinger, Pandora-Gilboa
Senior RB ran for 343 yards on 21 carries and scored seven TDs (six rushing, one receiving) in a 52-13 win over North Baltimore. He also had a fumble recovery on defense.
Week 9 Winner
Tyler Anderson, New Richmond
Senior RB broke his own school record for rushing yards in a game (343) with 345 and five TDs on 19 carries in a 38-0 win over Clermont Northeastern. Anderson also tied the SBAAC career record for TDs.
