Bucknuts & JJHuddle Ohio HS Weekly Awards

This fall we are pleased to announce that JJHuddle and Bucknuts have partnered together to award weekly player and team of the week honors in girls golf, boys golf, boys soccer, girls soccer, volleyball, boys cross country, girls cross country and girls tennis.

Each week (regular and postseason) during the fall sports seasons, we will hold a fan-generated contest on JJHuddle to tab a weekly Team and Player of the Week in each sport. Each weekly winner will receive a personalized award from JJHuddle and Bucknuts.

How it works?
A thread soliciting nominations will be posted/stuck in each sports JJHuddle Forum each week. Fans will then nominate top performances. We will announce the weekly finalists (up to 10) on JJHuddle every Monday and voting will be conducted in a special JJHuddle forum. Voting will cease at noon on Friday, after which the winners will be announced.

WEEK 11 GIRLS GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Nikolette Schroeder, Avon Lake (VOTE)
Senior became her school’s first girls golf state champion when she won medalist honors at the D-I state tournament at OSU’s Gray Course. Shroeder shot a 145.

Lexie Long, Dublin Coffman (VOTE)
Senior shot a 73 on Day 1 to take the first round individual lead at the D-I state tournament at OSU’s Gray Course. Finished the tournament third overall with a 147.

Sybil Robinson, Dublin Jerome (VOTE)
Shot a team-best 149 for the Celtics who captured their fourth straight D-I state title and fifth overall.

Carolyn Markley, Cincinnati St. Ursula (VOTE)
Senior shot a 146 to finish medalist runner-up at the D-I state tournament at OSU’s Gray Course. Shot a 71 on Day 2 to tie for low score in the second round.

WEEK 11 GIRLS GOLF TEAM OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Dublin Jerome (VOTE)
The Celtics won their fourth straight D-I state title by shooting a two-day total of 626 at OSU’s Gray Course during the D-I state tournament.

Massillon Jackson (VOTE)
The Polar Bears shot a Day 2 best 311 to draw within two strokes of champion Dublin Jerome and finish state runner-up at the D-I state tournament at OSU’s Gray Course.

Dublin Coffman (VOTE)
The Shamrocks shot 315 on Day 2 of the DI state tournament to finish third overall with a two-day total of 635 at OSU’s Gray Course.
