Bucknuts & JJHuddle Ohio HS Weekly Awards

This fall we are pleased to announce that JJHuddle and Bucknuts have partnered together to award weekly player and team of the week honors in girls golf, boys golf, boys soccer, girls soccer, volleyball, boys cross country, girls cross country and girls tennis.

Each week (regular and postseason) during the fall sports seasons, we will hold a fan-generated contest on JJHuddle to tab a weekly Team and Player of the Week in each sport. Each weekly winner will receive a personalized award from JJHuddle and Bucknuts.

How it works?
A thread soliciting nominations will be posted/stuck in each sports JJHuddle Forum each week. Fans will then nominate top performances. We will announce the weekly finalists (up to 10) on JJHuddle every Monday and voting will be conducted in a special JJHuddle forum. Voting will cease at noon on Friday, after which the winners will be announced.

WEEK 11 BOYS GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Jack Mancinotti, Toledo St. John’s (VOTE)
Senior became his school’s first state champion since 1996 when he captured medalist honors at the D-I state tournament by shooting a two-day total of 145 at OSU’s Gray Course. Mancinotti finished nine strokes ahead of the reunners-up.

Eddie O’Brien, St. Charles (VOTE)
Senior shot a pair of 77s to finish tied for medalist runner-up at the D-I state tournament at OSU’s Gray Course.

Ben Sattler, Moeller (VOTE)
Junior shot 154 to finish tied for medalist runner-up at the D-I state tournament at OSU’s Gray Course.

Spencer Shoemaker, Findlay (VOTE)
Senior shot 154 to finish tied for medalist runner-up at the D-I state tournament at OSU’s Gray Course.

WEEK 11 BOYS GOLF TEAM OF THE WEEK NOMINEES

Moeller (VOTE)
The Crusaders won the program’s first state title with a two-day total of 636 at OSU’s Gray Course to conquer D-I. Moeller has been to the state tournament 16 times and has finished runner-up twice.

St. Charles (VOTE)
The Cardinals tied for D-I state runner-up honors with Upper Arlington. St. Charles shot 645 at OSU’s Gray Course. The Cardinals had the best second day total of any team with a 324.

Upper Arlington (VOTE)
The Golden Bears tied for D-I state runner-up honors with St. Charles. UA shot 645 at OSU’s Gray Course.
