JJHuddle’s Ohio Girls Soccer Honor Roll: Bucknuts Weekly Player & Team of the Week Award Nominees


Bucknuts & JJHuddle Ohio HS Weekly Awards

This fall we are pleased to announce that JJHuddle and Bucknuts have partnered together to award weekly player and team of the week honors in girls golf, boys golf, boys soccer, girls soccer, volleyball, boys cross country, girls cross country and girls tennis.

Each week (regular and postseason) during the fall sports seasons, we will hold a fan-generated contest on JJHuddle to tab a weekly Team and Player of the Week in each sport. Each weekly winner will receive a personalized award from JJHuddle and Bucknuts.

How it works?
A thread soliciting nominations will be posted/stuck in each sports JJHuddle Forum each week. Fans will then nominate top performances. We will announce the weekly finalists (up to 10) on JJHuddle every Monday and voting will be conducted in a special JJHuddle forum. Voting will cease at noon on Friday, after which the winners will be announced.

Sophomore set a school record with five assists (and a goal) in a 10-0 win over Carrollton.

Kayla Childs, Harrison (VOTE)
Junior scored four goals in a 6-0 win over Mount Healthy.

Taylor Dickerson, Mount Healthy (VOTE)
Freshman scored four goals in 7-0 win over Wihtrow.

Gracie Miller, Upper Sandusky (VOTE)
Had four assists and a goal in a 7-0 win over Carey.

Harper Luczka, Fairmont (VOTE)
Scored five goals in a 7-1 win over Springfield.

Andi Widmer, Elyria Catholic (VOTE)
Senior scored four goals in an 8-1 win over Independence. Three consecutive goals came in a five-minute span of the first half.

Hannah Angelo, Massillon Jackson (VOTE)
Scored three goals and had two assists in a 9-0 win over GlenOak.

Rachel Baughman, Louisville (VOTE)
Scored three goals and had two assists in a 7-2 win over Minerva.

Taylor Frey, Riverdale (VOTE)
Scored three goals and had an assist in a 5-0 win over Mohawk.

Sarah Bartlome, Vermilion (VOTE)
Scored three goals and had an assist in a 7-3 win over Oberlin.


McKenna Scott, Continental
Scored two goals and had two assists in a 5-1 win voer Miller City.

Madison Brandon, Milton-Union
SWBL’s leading scorer had two goals and two assists in a 5-1 win over Waynesville.


Lima Bath (VOTE)
Wild Kittens became just the eighth team in state history to score 20 or more goals in a game when they beat Van Wert 20-0. Three players had hat tricks.

Kalida (VOTE)
The Wildcats provided head coach David Kehres career win No. 100 at the school with a 5-0 win over Kenton.

Badin (VOTE)
The Rams extended their win streak to six with shutout road wins at Roger Bacon and Talawanda.

Milton-Union (VOTE)
Bulldogs went 3-0 with wins over Waynesville, Middletown Madison and Brookville.

Gahanna Lincoln (VOTE)
The Lions improved to 11-0-1 with a win over Watterson. Lincoln has outscored opponents 39-4.

Oak Hills (VOTE)
The Highlanders remained unbeaten with shutout wins over Sycamore and Lakota West. Oak Hills has allowed three goals in 10 games and has eight shutouts.

Mason (VOTE)
The Comets remained unbeaten with wins over Princeton, Colerain and Milford. Mason has nine shutouts in 10 games and has allowed two goals.

Lehman Catholic (VOTE)
Cavaliers remained unbeaten with wins over Bethel and Maderia. Lehman five shutouts and has outscored opponents 39-7.

Olentangy Liberty (VOTE)
Patriots remained unbeaten and ran shutout streak to six with wins over Westladn (13-0) and Worthington Kilbourne (4-0). Liberty has outscored opponents 47-2.

Walsh Jesuit (VOTE)
Warriors ran their shutout streak to three and remained unbeaten with wins over Lake Catholic (3-0) and Massillon Jackson (4-0). Walsh has scored 41 goals this season and allowed five.
