Bucknuts & JJHuddle Ohio HS Weekly Awards
This fall we are pleased to announce that JJHuddle and Bucknuts have partnered together to award weekly player and team of the week honors in girls golf, boys golf, boys soccer, girls soccer, volleyball, boys cross country, girls cross country and girls tennis.
Each week (regular and postseason) during the fall sports seasons, we will hold a fan-generated contest on JJHuddle to tab a weekly Team and Player of the Week in each sport. Each weekly winner will receive a personalized award from JJHuddle and Bucknuts.
How it works?
A thread soliciting nominations will be posted/stuck in each sports JJHuddle Forum each week. Fans will then nominate top performances. We will announce the weekly finalists (up to 10) on JJHuddle every Monday and voting will be conducted in a special JJHuddle forum. Voting will cease at noon on Friday, after which the winners will be announced.

WEEK 4 GIRLS GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEES
Megan Creager, Milford (VOTE)
Shot a 2-over-par 38 at Wetherington CC to win medalist honors in a dual with Lakota East.
Carolyn Markley, Cincinnati St. Ursula (VOTE)
Shot a 2-over-par 35 at California GC to win co-medalist honors in a dual match with Villa Madonna (Ky).
Kacie Bradfish, Cincinnati Country Day (VOTE)
Shot a 2-over-par 35 at Hickory Woods GC to win medalist honors in a dual match with CHCA.
Kaci Carpenter, Canfield (VOTE)
Become the first golfer in school history – male or female – to card a hole-in-one when she aced the par 3 106-yard No. 3 at Diamondback GC in a dual meet against Howland. Carpenter used a 9 iron.
Emily Hughes, Gahanna-Lincoln (VOTE)
Was medalist in the big school division at the Lima Central Catholic Lady Thunderbird Invitational with a 70 at Hawthorne Hills GC.
Emily Knouff, Fort Loramie (VOTE)
Was medalist in the small school division at the Lima Central Catholic Lady Thunderbird Invitational with a 70 at Hawthorne Hills GC.
WEEK 4 GIRLS GOLF TEAM OF THE WEEK NOMINEES
Kent Roosevelt (VOTE)
Kory and Kasey Nielsen tied for medalist honors with 73s as the Roughriders won their second invitational in three days with a 308-310 victory over runner-up at the Walsh Jesuit Invite.
Seneca East (VOTE)
The Tigers won the first match in program history with a 226-242 decision over New London in a dual match.
Toledo St. Ursula Academy (VOTE)
Won the big school team title at the Lima Central Catholic Lady Thunderbird Invitational with a 303, which was 28 strokes better than runner-up Pickerington North.
The Red Devils won the small school team title at the Lima Central Catholic Lady Thunderbird Invitational with a 347, which was 22 strokes better than runner-up Centerville “B”.
