Bucknuts & JJHuddle Ohio HS Weekly Awards
This fall we are pleased to announce that JJHuddle and Bucknuts have partnered together to award weekly player and team of the week honors in girls golf, boys golf, boys soccer, girls soccer, volleyball, boys cross country, girls cross country and girls tennis.
Each week (regular and postseason) during the fall sports seasons, we will hold a fan-generated contest on JJHuddle to tab a weekly Team and Player of the Week in each sport. Each weekly winner will receive a personalized award from JJHuddle and Bucknuts.
How it works?
A thread soliciting nominations will be posted/stuck in each sports JJHuddle Forum each week. Fans will then nominate top performances. We will announce the weekly finalists (up to 10) on JJHuddle every Monday and voting will be conducted in a special JJHuddle forum. Voting will cease at noon on Friday, after which the winners will be announced.

WEEK 2 GIRLS TENNIS TEAM OF THE WEEK NOMINEES
North Canton Hoover (VOTE)
The Vikings beat CVCA to provide head coach Ryan Shaffer with career win No. 700. Shaffer is a 2011 Ohio Tennis Coaches Association Hall of Fame inductee and past OTCA President. His 27-year run includes successful stays at Hoover (11 years) and St. Thomas Aquinas (state championship, state record 128-straight regular season match wins).
The Golden Eagles won the Schroeder Invitational thanks in part to first place finishes by both their doubles teams. Bellbrook players also finished runner-up at first and second singles.
The Fliers won two singles titles and one in doubles en route to winning the team title at their own Bob Wilson Memorial Invitational.
Cincinnati Ursuline (VOTE)
Won the Pickerington Central Doubles Tournament.
Watkins Memorial (VOTE)
The Warriors won titles at first singles and both doubles en route to winning the Kokosing Valley Invitational.
The Blue Aces won the team title at the Teays Valley Viking Invitational thanks in part to first place finishes at first and second singles.
Upper Arlington (VOTE)
The Golden Bears won the Canfield Doubles Classic.
Dublin Coffman (VOTE)
The Shamrocks won the team title at the Watterson Memorial Tournament.
