Bucknuts & JJHuddle Ohio HS Weekly Awards
This fall we are pleased to announce that JJHuddle and Bucknuts have partnered together to award weekly player and team of the week honors in girls golf, boys golf, boys soccer, girls soccer, volleyball, boys cross country, girls cross country and girls tennis.
Each week (regular and postseason) during the fall sports seasons, we will hold a fan-generated contest on JJHuddle to tab a weekly Team and Player of the Week in each sport. Each weekly winner will receive a personalized award from JJHuddle and Bucknuts.
How it works?
A thread soliciting nominations will be posted/stuck in each sports JJHuddle Forum each week. Fans will then nominate top performances. We will announce the weekly finalists (up to 10) on JJHuddle every Monday and voting will be conducted in a special JJHuddle forum. Voting will cease at noon on Friday, after which the winners will be announced.

WEEK 1 GIRLS GOLF PLAYER OF THE WEEK NOMINEES
Lizzie Win, Toledo St. Ursula (VOTE)
Junior shot a two-under 70 to win medalist honors at the Three Rivers Athletic Conference golf tourney.
Esha Kulkarni, Centerville (VOTE)
Junior set a new school record by shooting 71 at the Lady Elk Golf Invite. She broke the previous school record of 72 set by her sister Nina.
Hannah Travis, Lancaster (VOTE)
Shot a 77 to win medalist honors at the Canal Winchester Invitational.
Emily Knouff, Fort Loramie (VOTE)
Shot a 75 to win medalist honors at the 11-team Celina Invitational.
WEEK 1 GIRLS GOLF TEAM OF THE WEEK NOMINEES
Toledo St. Ursula (VOTE)
The Arrows dominated the field at the first Three Rivers Athletic Conferee tournament of the season, firing a 294 to outdistance runner-up Toledo Notre Dame by 74 strokes. All four SU golfers broke 80.
The Eagles shot 166 to win the 11-team North Olmsted Invite.
The Trojans won the 13-team Covington Lady Bucc Invitaional with a 366-372 victory over runner-up Tippecanoe.
The Explorers shot 341 to beat runner-up Medina by three strokes and claim the preseason NOC Tournament.
The Panthers shot 326 to beat runner-up Centerville by nine strokes and capture the 12-team GWOC Preseason Tournament.
Kent Roosevelt (VOTE)
The Roughriders set a course record at Candywood GC in Vienna by shooting a 294 to win the 21-team JFK Invitational.
The Tigers shot a 385 to edge runner-up Fort Loramie by three strokes en route to winning the 11-team Celina Invitational.
