WEEK 5 BOYS LACROSSE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

*Austin Spears, Mason

Had back-to-back eight goal games in wins over Lakota West and Dublin Coffman. Also had an assist against LW.

WEEK 5 BOYS LACROSSE TEAM OF THE WEEK

*Mason

Comets went 3-0 with wins over Mariemont (6-5), Lakota West (14.5) and Dublin Coffman (13-6).

WEEK 5 GIRLS LACROSSE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

*Allie Howe, Mariemont

Senior captain scored a team-high four goals in an 11-8 win over Ursuline.

WEEK 5 GIRLS LACROSSE TEAM OF THE WEEK

*Pickerington Central

Tigers extended their win streak to 10 with wins over Westerville North and the Columbus School for Girls by the combined score of 42-14. Pick Central’s 13 wins this spring are a program record.

Senior has scored 20 goals and has seven assists through five games. Has twice scored nine points in a game.

WEEK 1 BOYS LACROSSE TEAM OF THE WEEK

*Loveland

The Tigers have been road warriors. Loveland won its first five games – four of which (Walnut Hills, Sycamore, Centerville and Miflord) – were on the road. The lone home game? A win over Moeller.

WEEK 1 GIRLS LACROSSE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

*Katie Stegmann, Olentangy

Junior scored four goals in a 20-15 win over Olentangy Orange and six goals in a 16-14 win over Hartley.

Celtics went 3-0 last week with wins over Thomas Worthington (16-7), Franklin Regional (Pa.) (18-6) and Mount Lebanon (Pa.) (15-2).

Junior had four assists and two goals in a 9-5 win over Hudson.

Polar Bears remained unbeaten (6-0) with wins over Hudson (9-5), Toledo St. Ursula (11-1), Olentangy Liberty (6-5) and Dublin Coffman (5-4) last week.

Has scored 28 goals and has 11 assists in nine games.

The Panthers went 3-0 with convincing wins over Westerville South (14-2), Gahanna Lincoln (16-3) and at Hilliard Bradley (15-6).

*Jaclen Moxley, Granville

Scored six goals and had an assist in a 12-10 win over Hilliard Davidson.

Tigers improved to 8-0 with wins over Lakota West (16-5), Lakota East (22-4) and Walnut Hills (15-2) last week.

*James (Rob) Cooney, Notre Dame Cathedral Latin

Junior has 63 goals and 13 assists in his last nine games. Scored nine goals in a win over CVCA that elevated the Lions to 7-2 for the first time ever.

Panthers ran win streak to six with wins over Turpin (19-4) and Walnut Hills (22-6).

WEEK 4 GIRLS LACROSSE ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

*Maddie Holvey, Revere

Senior scored 18 (points (17 goals) last week in games against Medina, Stow-Munroe Falls and Kenston. Has 39 goals seven games.

The Eagles improved to 6-0 with wins over Sylvania Southview (14-4), Toledo St. Ursula (18-10) and Maumee Valley CDS (17-8).
