2014 JJHUDDLE ALL-OHIO WRESTLING: HONORABLE MENTION

106: Sebastian Vidika, sr., Black River

One of only two seniors in the 16-man D-III state field, Vidika survived to win his first state title and finish the season 43-1. Two-time placer.

113: Eli Stickley, jr., Graham

Three-time placer became first time D-II state champion. Finished the season 50-3 and ranked No. 14 nationally.

120: Austin Assad, jr., Brecksville-Broadview Heights

Three-time state placer finished third after back-to-back runner-up spots. Finished season at 49-3. Ranked No. 9 nationally.

126: Jarred Ganger, jr., Covington

Three-time finalist won his second D-III state title and finished the season 27-1.

132: Nate Hagan, jr., Toledo Central Catholic

Two-time placer finished season 42-10 and with first state title.

138: Kaleb Romero, fr., Mechanicsburg

Capped freshman campaign with a D-III state title and a 46-1 record.

145: Kade Kowalski, jr., Dresden Tri-Valley

Two-time placer won his first state title and finished the season 52-2.

152: Casey Sparkman, sr., Massillon Perry

Two-time placer won his first title and finished the season 51-5.

160: Tony Dailey, sr., Massillon Perry

Two-time placer woin his first state title and finished the seoans 43-4. Ranked No. 16 nationally.

170: Joe Heyob, sr., St. Xavier

Two-time placer became just the second wrestler in his school’s history and first in 24 years to win a D-I state title. Did so in fashion by going 50-0.

182: Rocco Caywood, sr., Perrysburg

Won his first D-I state title and finished the season 43-4. Ranked No. 19 nationally. State championship was the school’s first since 1974.

195: Ryan Weber, sr., Loudonville

Capped a 46-3 season by winning his first D-III state title. Two-time placer.

220: Jay Nino, jr., Genoa

Finished the season 65-2 and won his first D-III state title.

285: Patrik Garren, sr., Ready

Three-time placer finished third, first and third the last three years, respectively, in D-III. Went 47-2 this season. Ranked. No. 15 nationally.
