Week 5 Winner: Connor Kern, Pickerington Central

Senior guard and Arkansas State commit scored 29 points to surpass 1,000 for his career in a huge 62-58 win over Gahanna Lincoln.

Week 5 Runner-Up: Hayden Cunningham, East Liverpool

Senior set a new school record with 51 points and a 97-61 win over Cameron (WV). Cunningham hit six 3s and was 13-of-15 from the free throw line. He scored 30 points in the first half. The old record (47 points) was set by Andrew Bobalik in 2006. Cunningham also had 21 points in a win over Stuebenville Central Catholic.

Week 5 Winner: Union Local

The Jets remained unbeaten with wins over St. Clairsville (49-40) and Martins Ferry (60-50). They’ve since improved to 10-0 for the first time in history.

Week 5 Runner-Up: Racine Southern

The Tornadoes beat Hemlock Miller 74-59 to earn head coach Jeff Caldwell career win No. 200.
