OFFENSE

Quarterbacks

*Conner Krizancic, sr., Mentor: Cincinnati recruit has thrown for 2,811 yards and 30 TDs and rushed for 1,345 yards and 20 TDs.

*Gus Ragland, sr., Moeller: First team GCL South performer was named 2013 All-Southwest District D-I Offensive Player of the Year. Ragland has rushed for 1,485 yards and 25 TDs and thrown for 1,785 yards and 19 TDs. Said Moeller head coach John Rodenberg: ‘He’s a true Moeller guy. He’s got an attitude that he’s not going to lose. It’s great when you have a guy like that that touches the ball every play.”

*Quan Robinson, sr., Glenville: Has thrown for 1,946 yards and 30 TDs this season.

*Messiah DeWeaver, so., Trotwood-Madison: Has completed 128-of-206 passes for 2,181 yards and 21 TDs. Has also rushed for six TDs. Holds an offer from Louisville.

*Brody Hoying, jr., Coldwater: First cousin of former Ohio State greats Bobby Hoying (St. Henry) and Ross and Adam Homan (Coldwater), Hoying was recently named the MAC and All-Northwest District D-V Offensive Player of the Year. Has rushed for 1,713 yards and 30 TDs and thrown for 1,820 yards and 21 TDs this season. Hoying was also a first team All-Mac selection at DB. Said Hartley head coach Brad Burchfield: “The game will be won or lost on how we defend him and how he performs.” Said Coldwater head coach Chip Otten: “I wouldn’t trade him for anyone. I don’t care who it is in the state. He’s got all the skills.”

*Jared Brandewie, sr., Hartley: Has thrown for 1,330 yards and 15 TDs and rushed for 453 yards and four TDs.

*Colby Speice, sr., Wayne Trace: “His knowledge of the game and competitiveness is unmatched compared to any kid I’ve coached,” Wayne Trace head coach Bill Speller said. “There may be a few here and there but he just comes from a great football family.” Dad (Mike Speice) is WT’s defensive coordinator and played at Dayton. Against Mechanicsburg last week, Speice completed 30-of-46 attempts for 346 yards and four TDs and ran for two TDs. He’s accounted for 62 TDs this season. In the regional finals, Speice threw for a state record nine TD passes against Ada.

*Sam Skiljan, jr., Kirtland: Has accounted for 26 TDs. Effective thrower has completed 67-of-103 passes for 1,334 yards and 19 TDs. Also rushed for seven TDs.

*Konner Standley, sr., Trimble: 2013 All-Southeast D-VII District Offensive Player of the Year. Never comes off field. Said head coach Phil Faires: “It starts with him.” Standley has 2,400 yards passing and close to 1,000 yards rushing. Reigning TVC Hocking Division Offensive POY.

*Adam Bertke, sr., Marion Local: Pitt recruit has the respect of his head coach. “He’s a stud on and off the field. That’s the only way I can describe him,” ML head coach Tim Goodwin said. “He’s what you want your son to be and he’s who you want your daughter to date.” Bertke is looking to lead the Flyers to their third straight state title as a starter.

Running Backs

*Luke Waddell, fr., Loveland: Has played above and beyond his years. Is team’s leading rusher with 1,410 yards and 17 TDs on 155 carries.

*Parris Campbell, sr., Akron St. Vincent-St. Mary: Ohio State recruit has carried the ball 167 times for 1,586 yards and 22 TDs.

*Bayle Wolf, sr., Clinton-Massie: Will cap one of the state’s most prolific prep careers this weekend. Wolf enters the D-IV final with 108 career TDs, including 98 rushing.  Those numbers ranked No. 6 and 7, respectively, all-time in Ohio. This season Wolf has rushed for 1,784 yards and 28 TDs. Wolf has over 5,000 rushing yards for his career.

*Mark Handel, sr., Youngstown Mooney: Has rushed for a team-high 1,213 yards and 12 TDs. Also has 2,267 all-purpose yards including 446 receiving, 428 KR, 150 PR and 39 INT return.

*CJ Amill, jr., Youngstown Mooney: Has carried the ball 187 times for 1,210 yards and 11 TDs.

*Chayse Wolf, jr., Clinton-Massie: Has carried the ball 198 times for 1,359 yards and 20 TDs.

*Sam MacKowiak, sr., Hartley: Has carried the ball 314 times for 2,042 yards and 29 TDs. Has been especially effective in postseason with 11 TDs the last four weeks.

*Sam Kukura, sr., Kirtland: Has rushed for 1,570 yards and 27 TDs on 127 attempts. Has 31 total TDs.

*Adam Hess, jr., Kirtland: Has rushed for 1,299 yards and 19 TDs on 164 carries.

*Jacey Goettemoeller, jr., Marion Local: First team All-MAC.

Receivers

*Brandon Fritts, sr., Mentor: North Carolina recruit has caught 60 passes for 1,057 yards and 13 TDs.

*Eddie Daugherty, jr., Mentor: Has caught 82 passes for 971 yards and eight TDs. Said mentor head coach Steve Trivisonno: “He’s a multidimensional kid. He can change direction as well as any one I’ve had.”

*Isaiah Gentry, sr., Moeller: Kent State recruit was first team All-GCL South. Has caught 37 passes for 922 yards and eight TDs.

*Marshon Lattimore, sr., Glenville: Two-way standout has 14 TD receptions this year. Also owns offers from Ohio State and Alabama. Said Glenville head coach Ted Ginn: “He’s an elite guy. In high school they don’t come that often like that. Athletically he’s in the top 5 that I’ve ever seen in my life.”

*Austin Downs, jr., Trimble: All-time leading receiver in program history (receptions, yardage and TDs).

*Adam Klosterman, sr., WR/DB, Coldwater: Named first team All-MAC at both WR and DB.  Has caught 40 passes for 724 yards and eight TDs. Also has four INTs, three of which have been returned for TDs. Has also returned a punt for a TD. Versatile.

Offensive Lineman

*Marcelys Jones, sr., Glenville: Committed to Ohio State.

*Stephen Langenkamp, sr., Moeller: First team All-GCL South. Holds offer from Ohio.

Kickers

*Zak Kennedy, jr., Youngstown Mooney: Has kicked 13 FGs this season and connected on 44 PATs.

Defensive Lineman

*Nico Lautenan, jr., Mentor: Has 78 tackles, 28 QB hurries, 14 TFL and 12 sacks.

* Chalmer Frueauf, sr., Moeller: State wrestling champion has offers from Kent State, Ohio and Bowling Green. First team All-GCL North.

*Charlie Lawler, sr., Loveland: 2013 All-Southwest District D-II Defensive Player of the Year.  Has 52 tackles, including 8.5 sacks.

*Travonte Junius, sr., Akron SVSM: Akron commit has 38.5 tackles, 14.5 TFL and 4.5 sacks.

*Ryan Reese, sr., Trotwood-Madison: GWOC North Division Defensive Player of the Year.

*Kalil Morris, sr., Hartley: First team All-Central District D-V Defense. Has 57 tackles, including nine TFL and three sacks.

Linebackers

*Justin Mcmahon, sr., Mentor: Leads team with 158 tackles. Also has four INTs and eight sacks.

*Kent Berger, sr., Mentor: Ohio recruit has 76 tackles, 26 QB hurries, 14 TFL and eight sacks this season.

*Sam Hubbard, sr., Moeller: Ohio State recruit was first team All-GCL South. He’s a 6-6 free safety.

*Brian Popp, sr., LB, Loveland: Team’s leader in tackles (74). Also has four sacks, two INTs, two FR and two FF.

*Dante Booker, sr., Akron SVSM: Ohio State recruit leads team with 90.5 tackles and 19.5 TFL. Also has 3.5 sacks and two INTs.

*Newman Williams, sr. Akron SVSM: Akron commit has 52 tackles and 5.5 TFL. Also scored nine TDs.

*Kelsun Gauden, sr., Clinton-Massie: Leads team in tackles (92), TFL (22) and sacks (10).  Is also reigning league champion in 100 meter dash.

*Mitch Schoenherr, sr., Coldwater: First team All-MAC selection leads Cavs with 117 tackles. Also has 10 TDs on offense (five rushing, five receiving).

*Matthew Finkler, Jr., Kirtland: 2013 All-Northeast Lakes D-VI District Defensive Player of the Year has scored four defensive TDs this season. As a TE he’s caught 27 passes for 550 yards and six TDs.

*Jacob Kunkler, jr., Marion Local: MAC Defensive Player of the Year.

*Jacob Koons, sr., Trimble: 2013 All-Southeast District D-VII Defensive Player of the Year. Reigning TVC Hocking Division Defensive POY.

Defensive Backs

*Erick Smith, sr., Glenville: Highly sought after recruit has offers from Ohio State and Alabama.

*Alonzo Saxton, sr., DB, Hartley: Duke commit was 2013 All-Central District D-V Defensive Player of the Year. Has nine INTs this season and a fumble recovery.

*Ryan Loncar, sr., Kirtland: With his start in the D-VI final, Loncar sets a new state record for consecutive starts with 58. He’s currently tied with  Mogadore’s Tommy Lee. Loncar also has 22 career interceptions, including six this year. As a WR he’s caught 13 TDs this season.
