Grand Valley’s Vormelker, Bellaire win Week 7 National Guard Football Awards

The Week 7 competition for the Ohio National Guard JJHuddle Ohio HS Football Team and Player Of the Week is over. And it was a heated one. It was also one that’s going to change the voting process moving forward. When next week’s poll is conducted, people will still be able to vote as many times as they want (to show support for their community, team and player), but verification will be required. That being said, this week’s votes (over 175,000 of them!) have been cast and this week’s winners are…

If this was only one vote per person then only the biggest communities would win each week. This week showed that 2 small school athletes really had the support of their communities which tells a lot about their communities and the quality of the person that the football player is.
