The Week 4 competition for the Ohio National Guard JJHuddle Ohio HS Football Team and Player Of the Week is over. And it was a heated one. The votes (over 115,000 of them!) have been cast and this week’s winners are…

ONG JJH Ohio Player of the Week

Week 4 Winner: Logan Piccirillo, LB, Liberty Union

Had 15 tackles, four TFL, a sack, a forced fumble and ran for a 5-yard TD in 33-6 win over Amanda-Clearcreek.

Week 4 Runner-Up: Joe Alessi, RB, South Range

Ran for 224 yards and five TDs in 49-35 win over previously-unbeaten Crestview.

ONG JJH Ohio Team of the Week

Week 4 Winner: Fort Loramie

The Redskins forced five turnovers and returned an interception for the game-winning score in 14-8 win over Ada.

Week 4 Runner-Up: Fairless

The Falcons rallied from a 28-14 fourth quarter deficit to beat Akron Macnhester for the first time in 27 years – 49-48 in triple OT. Fairless’s last win over Manchester was in 1985. The victory also improved the Falcons to 4-0 for the first time since 1998.
