*Newark Catholic (12-3, D-VI state runner-up): The Green Wave own nine state titles and nearly had No. 10 last year (lost 28-21 to Marion Local). Don’t fret Green Wave fans. There’s enough talent returning to produce a return trip to the state final (which would be the school’s 15th). Senior QB Chayce Crouch (6-4, 219) has committed to Illinois.
