*Hamilton Township (7-3): The Rangers opened 4-0 for the first time since 1975 last season but a 3-3 finish over the final six games kept them out of the playoffs. Head coach Nathan Hillerich (20-10 in three years) expects this year’s club to contend for the program’s first postseason berth since 2002.
“Expectations will be high,” Hillerich said. “We return seven all-league players and 13 starters from 2012. Filling the quarterback position will be the toughest task.”
Junior Dante White looks like the frontrunner to take over QB duties. His learning curve will be cushioned by the return of junior Slot/DB Aaron Hall-Williams (5-8, 168), the reigning Mid-State League Offensive Back of the Year. Hall-Williams ran for 659 yards and nine TDs on 59 carries, caught 37 passes for 693 yards and six TDs and returned two of his three INTs for TDs.
Another key returnee is senior DE/TE Micky Crum (6-4, 240) who has committed to Louisville. Crum ran for two TDs, caught two TD passes and had 29 tackles last year.
Additional players of note are senior Lorenzio Bridges (5-11, 186/529 yards rushing, five TDs, 34 tackles), senior DB Dylan Napier (5-10, 155/62 tackles) and junior DB Dashawn Nelms (5-8, 150/43 tackles).
On the OL/DL the Rangers return Kedtrick West, Logan Jones, Michael Wellman, Alonzo Jewell and Ben Swauger.
New to the schedule are nonleague opponents Licking Heights (Week2) and Worthington Kilbourne (Week 3).

Worthington Kilbourne (0-0)
Liberty Union (0-0)
