Chayce Crouch, QB, Newark Catholic, 6-4, 219: The most highly recruited offensive skill player in Central Ohio is a small school signal caller. Crouch threw for 2,077 yards and 18 TDs last season in leading NC to a D-VI state runner-up finish. He also ran for 500 yards and 11 TDs. Toledo, Kent State and Western Michigan have offered.

Ramroth Finnegan, QB, Whetstone, 6-3, 210: Burst onto the scene last season when he threw for 2,458 yards and 20 TDs. Also offered up 16 INTs. His lone offer thus far is from Buffalo. Holds a 3.9 gpa.

L.J. Scott, RB, Marion Harding, 5-11, 210:
After seeing limited action due to injury last year, look for Scott to be a force. He had four TDs and 293 yards on 40 carries last season. Also registered 53 tackles as a LB. Kent State has offered.

Darryl Long, TE, Westerville South, 6-5, 220: Ohio should yield a decent TE class in 2014, and vying for the top spot is Long who caught 41 passes for 625 yards and five TDs last season. Long’s offer list includes SEC (Kentucky), Big Ten (Illinois, Indiana and Purdue), ACC (Pitt and Louisville) and MAC schools.

Nick Richardson, OL, Westerville Central, 6-4, 280: With the exception of Trout, Richardson is the most sought after OL in Central Ohio. Michigan State and Ole Miss highlight an offer list that also includes Illinois, Cincinnati, Indiana, Maryland and Kentucky.
