Ohio’s OL class of 2014 will be another solid one. Ohio State already has commitments from two in-state kids in the class and Notre Dame’s gotten another. Those three, though, are all from D-I schools. Here’s a look at some lower division (IV-VI) OL prospects that will also vie for the 2014 Top 100 in May.

Ohio’s OL class of 2014 will be another solid one. Ohio State already has commitments from two Ohio kids in the class and Notre Dame’s gotten another. Those three kids, though, are all from D-I schools. Here’s a look at some lower division (IV-VI) OL prospects that will also vie for the 2014 Top 100 in May.

*Brady Taylor, Ready, 6-5, 267: Want a stat machine? Taylor is it. Last year as a two-way starter he had 96 tackles (including 44 for loss) and 10.5 sacks. He was first team All-Ohio in football and doubles as an all-league basketball player. Taylor has offers from Bowling Green, Toledo and Ohio.

*Jon Bezney, Mariemont, 6-5, 275: As a TE, Bezney caught five TDs last year. He also registered 68 tackles. Bezney holds offers from Kentucky, Kent State and Bowling Green.

*Jared McCray, Minford, 6-5, 300: McCray has a big body, but it’s athletic. In addition to being named first team All-Ohio in football last year, McCray is also an All-Southern Ohio Conference athlete in baseball and basketball. He holds offers from Kent State, Akron and Louisville.

*Dakota Tallman, Elyria Catholic, 6-5, 300: All-Ohioan holds an offer from Bowling Green. More will follow.

*Colt Pettit, Patrick Henry, 6-4, 247: Three-year letterwinner is also a two-time All-Ohioan. Pettit has offers from Bowling Green, Kent State, Indiana, Akron, Toledo, Miami of Ohio, Purdue, Illinois, Ohio and Western Michigan.
