The Greater Western Ohio Conference has a long lineage of outstanding linebackers (i.e. A.J. Hawk, Marcus Freeman, Trey DePriest). Who’s next? Here’s three prospects that fit the bill…did we mention the 2014 Top 100?

The Greater Western Ohio Conference has a long lineage of outstanding linebackers (i.e. A.J. Hawk, Marcus Freeman, Trey DePriest). Who’s next? Here’s three prospects that fit the bill…did we mention the 2014 Top 100?

*Airius Moore, Beavercreek, 6-0, 215: GWOC Central Defensive Player of the Year last season after registering 70 tackles, three forced fumbles and two INTs. Had 73 tackles as a sophomore. Doubles as standout and All-Conference PG on basketball team. Holds offers from Illinois, Cincinnati, Bowling Green, Indiana, Ohio and Ball State.

*Dorian Hendrix, Wayne, 6-1, 210, MLB: First team GWOC Central performer last year had 93 tackles. As a junior he had 73. Holds offers from Illinois, Ohio, Toledo, Buffalo, Bowling Green, Kentucky and Indiana.

*Verdontae Wilkinson, Trotwood-Madison, 6-3, 235, OLB: First team GWOC North performer last year was second on the team in tackles (49) behind Michigan recruit Michael McCray. Came up big in playoff win over Winton Woods with INT and fumble recovery. Holds offers from Illinois, Toledo, Kentucky, Buffalo, Ohio and Bowling Green.
