The aggressive work of Urban Meyer
and the Ohio State coaching staff continues as they work ahead on the
class of 2015. Today they hosted super sophomore quarterback Eric Glover-Williams (Canton, Ohio/McKinley).

In fact they not only hosted Glover-Williams on an unofficial visit, they offered him a scholarship.

“Coach (Urban) Meyer advised Eric that Ohio State wants him,”
Eric’s father Jerry Williams said in a text message. “That’s great news.
Eric really loves Ohio State.”

The 5-foot-11 and 165-pound Glover-Williams has tremendous speed and some say he could be the next “Jalin Marshall” in the Buckeye State. Like Marshall, he runs a “spread” type offense for his team.

Glover-Williams, who also has an offer from Nebraska, has played
both quarterback and in the Canton McKinley secondary. And it sounds
like he would like nothing better than to follow in Marshall’s footsteps
and become a Buckeye.

“I’m a big Ohio State fan … If they’d be interested in me and I
could help them then I’d love to go there … Ohio State is one of my
number one places where I’d like to go,” Glover-Williams said earlier
this week. “A lot of other schools are looking at me too but Ohio State
is definitely one of my top schools.”

Now Glover-Williams more than knows the Buckeyes are interested.
