2012 JJHUDDLE WRESTLING POWER POLLS

Here are the preseason rankings for the 2012-2013 wrestling season.
There are several teams who have a lot to replace and have banner crops
of freshmen coming into their program, but for the preseason poll –
sticking with the proven commodities! The top spot in D-I an D-II were
easy, D-III is once again going to be fun to watch take shape.

DIVISION I PRESEASON POLL

1. Lakewood St. Edward – Thought to be a year away last year, the Eagles won the National Duals en route to claiming the state title. St. Ed’s will be led by a strong nucleas anchored by Dean Heil and Edgar Bright among others.
2. Marysville – Taleb Rahmani, Noah Forrider and Matt Lyberger anchor a solid squad.
3. Massillon Perry – David Bavery and JoJo Tayse return to help Perry.
4. Moeller – Dakota Sizemore and Chalmer Frueauf return with state experience for the Crusaders.
5. Solon – Brandon Thompson and Anthony Collica give Solon a strong base with state experience.
6. Brecksville Broadview Heights – The Assad brothers and Quentin Hiles makes Brecksville a team that could challenge higher in the order.
7. Maple Hts. – Richard Robertson provides a solid base for Maple Hts. to build around.
8. Centerville – Returning state placer Garrett Conner and Brenden Watson return to experienced Elks squad.
9. Mt. Vernon – Dakota Riley anchors a strong squad.
10. Fairmont – Matt Denlinger and Josh Parrett return to a squad mixed with experience and newcomers.
