Here are some of the top wrestlers in the state of Ohio to watch in Division III. Who to pin your sights on…

Jacob Danishek, Jr., Dayton
Christian: Captured his second D-III state title and finished the season
50-3 (at 132). He was 50-1 as a freshman.



Here are some of the top wrestlers in the state of Ohio to watch in Division III. Due to new hydration rules and prolonged football seasons for some weights are still TBD. 

*B.J. Toal, Troy Christian – Defending state champ (182) is signed and sealed for college, looks for his second state title and a team title to boot.

*Jordan Marshall, Troy Christian – Another defending state champ (145) for the Eagles as they look to finish off the climb back to the top of the state.

*Jacob Danishek, Dayton Christian – Silenced critics last year by running the gauntlet in claiming second title (132). Bigger, faster and stronger, Danishek will look for title number three at 145.

*Sammy Gross, Beachwood – Defending state champ (113).

*Zane Nelson, Applecreek Waynedale – Advanced to the finals (138) last season, looks to take the next step this year.

*Austin Reese, Mechanicsburg – Moves up to 138 this year after reaching the finals last season at 120.

*Jason Sandlin, Carlisle – Advanced to the state semis last year as a freshman before finishing third (126).

*Zach Niner, Liberty Center – Gave Danishek a run for his money in the semis last season en route to a fourth place finish (132).

*Armani Robinson, Jamestown Greeneview – Cruised into the state finals (170) last season before coming up short on stage.

*Dalton Ishmael, North Baltimore – Following in the legacy of his uncle Jim and father John – a tenacious pinner who could eclipse several state and national marks in falls this year. Was third (195) last year.
