General Observations & Expectations for the 2012-2013 Season (OGBR Staff)

•Expect no state champion this year to run the table with an undefeated season;

•Expect history to be made as 1 state champion this year could have a regular season losing record…maybe not even double digit wins;

•Expect 1 division to have all Final 4 participants from a year ago repeat this year as the Final 4 field;

•Expect 10 of the 16 Final 4 participants from a year ago return in this year’s  Final 4 field of 16;

•Expect with schedules going to 22 games more big game match ups among Top 10 teams during the regular season than ever before;

•Expect more college coaches to attend more high school games in Ohio than ever before with the NCAA compressing the July observation period from 20 to 14 days and removing the 5 observation per prospect restriction from the 100 days colleges are allowed to observe during the high school season.
