Central Ohio Power Polls: Final


1. Hilliard Darby (10-0)
Result: The Panthers beat rival Hilliard Bradley 42-0 to complete the first 10-0 season in school history. In 2007 Darby was 9-0 heading into Week 10 before a loss to Groveport-Madison. Five different Darby players ran for first half TDs against Bradley.

2. Pickerington North (9-1)
Result: The Panthers had three red zone drives fail to yield points, missed a field goal and were stripped of an apparent TD on a muffed punt in a 13-10 loss to Grove City. Pick North shares the OCC Ohio Division title with Pickerington Central.

3. Dublin Coffman (9-1)
Result: The Shamrocks committed six turnovers – including a fumble on the opening kickoff – in a 23-14 loss to Upper Arlington. Coffman shares the OCC Central Division title with Davidson.

4. Pickerington Central (7-2)
Result: The Tigers rallied from a 17-point deficit to beat Gahanna 28-23. Senior TE/DE Taco Charlton scored the game-winning TD on a 30-yard TD reception and had four second half sacks.

5. Dublin Scioto (8-2)
Result: RB Tim Shadoan ran for two TDs and 88 yards on 14 carries as the Irish beat Worthington Kilbourne for the third straight time in the “battle for Hard Road.”

Result: Senior RB Austin Jones ran for four TDs as the Scotties capped the first 10-0 regular season in school history with a 56-14 win over Philo.

2. New Albany (8-2)
Result: The Eagles racked up 422 total yards and won their fourth straight OCC Capital Division title with a 38-14 win over Mount Vernon. Leslie Anoyke ran for 144 yards and two TDs on seven carries.

3. Zanesville (9-1)
Result: QB Thomas Wibbeler threw for 269 yards and four TDs and the Blue Devils scored on six straight first half possessions en route to a 39-6 win over Marietta.

4. Marion-Franklin (9-1)
Result: The Red Devils wrapped up a Columbus City League South title with a 43-21 win over Columbus South. M-F scored all 43 of its points in the first half. Senior QB Corry Benson threw for two TDs and ran for another and senior WR Joe Alverson scored two TDs (one on a 75-yard punt return).

5. Licking Heights (10-0)
Result: The Hornets won the MSL Cardinal title with a 53-0 win over Fisher Catholic. LH outgained the Irish 483-161 in total yards and led 33-0 at halftime. QB Taylor Curtiss threw for two TDs and ran for another.

Result: The Eagles ran for 291 yards en route to a 27-14 win over Jonathan Alder. Walter Green led the attack with 167 yards and two TDs on 17 carries.

Result: The Blue Aces earned a share of the MSL Ohio Division title with a 34-20 win over Columbus Academy. Senior QB David Fraley threw for a TD and ran for one as Granville outscored Academy 14-0 in the fourth quarter.

Result: Senior RB Drew McArtor scored five TDs and ran for 212 yards on 38 carries in a 48-34 win over Heath.

Result: The Warriors scored two defensive TDs and Martine Perez ran for two TDs as Eastmoor beat Africentric 47-20.

Result: The Stallions lost 49-20 to George Washington (Charleston, WV). The loss snaps DeSales’ state-leading consecutive playoff streak at 18 years.

1. Hartley (10-0)
Result: The Hawks beat rival Ready 42-8 to finish the regular season undefeated for the second season in a row and the second time in school history. Senior RB Ju’Wuan Woodley ran for 201 yards and two TDs on 22 carries.

2. North Union (10-0)
Result: The Wildcats scored 14 points in the first quarter and 15 in the fourth to beat Sparta Highland 29-0. Thane Hoffman ran for two TDs and the Wildcats scored on three runs of 2 yards or shorter.

Result: The Mustangs defended their outright Scioto Valley Conference title with a 48-21 win over Chillicothe Huntington. Senior QB Trent Williamson accounted for five TDs. He ran for 166 yards and four TDs on 17 carries and threw for another score.
