The Power Polls…continue. JJHuddle’s immensely popular state football
rankings return today with the release of the Division VI Week 8 poll. A reminder, JJHuddle is proud to announce that the Ohio National Guard has

1. McComb (9-0/AP Poll: 2)
Last Week:
The Panthers beat Pandora-Gilboa 49-0. McComb has four shutouts in in last six games and has allowed 18 points over that span. Senior RB Jerry Brown ran for two TDs and caught two TD passes as the Panthers claimed at least a share of the Blanchard Valley Conference title.

2. Marion Local (7-2/AP Poll: 8)
Last Week: The Flyers rallied from a 14-0 halftime deficit to beat Anna 27-21. Sophomore RB Jacey Goettemoeller ran for 123 yards and three TDs on 16 carries.

3. Ada (9-0/AP Poll: 3)
Last Week: QB Mason Acheson threw for 273 yards and two TDs as the Bulldogs beat Delphos Jefferson 17-0. Acheson now has 27 TDs on the season.

4. Delphos St. John’s (6-3/AP Poll: NR)
Last Week: The Blue Jays rallied from a 3-0 halftime deficit to beat New Bremen 34-3. Junior RB Tyler Jettinghoff ran for 103 yards and two TDs on 17 carries as DSJ limited New Bremen to 140 total yards.

5. Mogadore (9-0/AP Poll: 1)
Last Week: The Wildcats forced three turnovers and senior RB Gary Strain ran for three TDs as Mogadore beat Ravenna Southeast 30-19. The Wildcats clinched a share of the Portage Trail Conference County Division.

6. Minster (7-2/AP Poll: NR)
Last Week: The Wildcats rallied from a 14-0 deficit to beat Versailles 20-14. Senior QB Adam Niemeyer hit junior TE Ethan Wolf for a 5-yard TD pass with 31 seconds left to secure the win. Earlier in the fourth quarter, Niemeyer scored on fourth-and-goal from the 1-yardline to tie the game.

7. Leipsic (8-1/AP Poll: 4)
Last Week: Two TD passes from QB Zach Kuhlman gave the Vikings a 14-0 lead, but they couldn’t hold it in a 21-14 loss to Liberty-Benton. Leipsic had a first-and-goal in the second half and failed to score any points.

Last Week: The Green Wave lost to Granville 14-7. Kevin Bourne continued his masterful season by returning a fumble 85-yards for NC’s lone score.

Last Week: Seven different players scored for the Tigers who moved a step closer to the school’s second unbeaten season since 1977 with a 49-13 win over Bridgeport.
