Central Ohio’s No. 1 HS Football Rankings continue today with the release of the Week 10 JJHuddle/NBC4 Central Ohio Power Poll. Here’s how things look after seven games…


The fourth annual JJHuddle/NBC4 Central Ohio Power Poll continues…

This year JJHuddle and NBC4 will again contest separate polls for
Divisions I, II, III and IV. Divisions V and VI will remained combined.

Central Ohio Power Polls: Week 10

DIVISON I

1. Pickerington North (9-0)
Result: Senior RB Godwin Igwebuike scored three first quarter TDs as the Panthers shut out Gahanna 42-0. Pick North limited the Lions to 58 total yards.

2. Dublin Coffman (9-0)
Result: RB Bilal Williamson had 233 yards of offense and scored three TDs in a 36-28 win over Olentangy Liberty. Williamson ran for 169 yards and had 64 yards receving. Senior DL Miles McCollum had four sacks.

3. Hilliard Darby (9-0)
Result: QB Chase Longwell ran for two first half TDs as the Panthers outgainned Westerville Central 150-9 in total yards in the first two quarters en route to a 29-7 win. Senior DB Caleb Day also had an interception and returned a punt for a TD.

4. Pickerington Central (6-2)
Result: The Tigers won the 100th game in program history (since the district split) with a 44-7 win over Groveport-Madison. Pick Central overcame five turnovers by limiting the Cruisers to 71 total yards.

5. Dublin Scioto (7-2)
Result: WR Tim Shadoan caught 12 passes for 205 yards and three TDs (from Evan DeMars) and the Irish withstood a late 2-point conversion to edge Hilliard Bradley 28-27.

DIVISON II

1. Tri-Valley (9-0)
Result: The Scotties outgained Sheridan 639-177 in total yards en route to a 63-13 win. Senior QB Nathan Strock threw for 192 yards and three TDs and ran for 159 yards and two TDs. RB Austin Jones added three TDs and 185 yards rushing on 18 carries.

2. New Albany (7-2)
Result: The Eagles ran for 317 yards and five TDs in a 34-7 win over Watkins Memorial. RB Leslie Anoyke had 147yards and two TDs on eight carries.

3. Zanesville (8-1)
Result: The Blue Devils outgained Cambridge 446-168 in total yards in a 47-9 win. beat Cambridge 47-9. QB Thomas Wibbeler threw three TDs and ran for another.

4. Marion-Franklin (8-1)
Result: QB Corry Benson returned to the line-up and tallied 177 of the Red Devils 226 total yards in a 6-0 won over Eastmoor. His 6-yard TD run in the third quarter was the difference.

5. Licking Heights (9-0)
Result: RB Ronald Carruthers-Kimball ran for three TDs and QB Taylor Curtis threw for two and ran for another as the Hornets beat Berne Union 45-8.

DIVISON III

1. Watterson (6-3)
Result: The Eagles were outgained (272-246) but not outgunned in a 21-17 win over St. Charles. Andy Elberson ran for 96 yards and a TD and Walter Green had 103 yards and a TD in the win.

2. Granville (8-1)
Result: Josh Link’s 8-yard fourth quarter TD run was the difference as the Blue Aces beat Newark Catholic 14-7.

Result: The Stallions racked up 425 total yards and used a 28-point second quarter to erase a 14-7 deficit en route to a 49-21 win over Cincinnati LaSalle. RB J.T. Blumbaugh ran for 135 yards and three TDs on 22 carries.

Result: The Warriors dropped a 6-0 decision to Marion-Franklin. QB Daivon Barrow had 165 of his team’s 212 total yards.

Result: Senior RB Drew McArtor ran for 227 yards and four TDs on 36 carries as the Panthers rallied from a 10-7 halftime deficit to beat Bexley 28-17.

DIVISON IV

1. Hartley (9-0)
Result: The Hawks had two 200-yard rushers in a 41-6 win over Coschocton. Senior RB Ja’Wuan Woodley ran for 212 yards and three TDs on 26 carries, while senior RB Marcellus Calhoun had 211 yards and three TDs on 29 carries.  Hartley had 540 yards of offense, including 479 rushing.

2. North Union (9-0)
Result: The Wildcats ran for nine TDs and returned a punt for another in a 67-18 win over Ridgedale. Kam Smith scored three times and Thane Hoffman twice.

Result: The Mustangs clinched a share of the Scioto Valley Conference with a 28-23 win over Frankfort Adena. QB Trent Williamson ran for a TD and threw for two more.

Result: The Bishops lost 6-3 to River View, which scored its lone TD on a fumble return. Missing senior RB Luke Lloyd, Rosecrans managed just 113 total yards.
