rankings return today with the release of the Division III Week 8 poll. A reminder, JJHuddle is proud to announce that the Ohio National Guard has

We will release the remaining Ohio National Guard & JJHuddle Power Polls today and tomorrow.

1. Alter (6-0-1/AP Poll: 2)
Last Week: The Knights overcame a 14-0 deficit and rallied to beat Cincinnati McNicholas 35-27. Senior QB Mailk Zaire ran for 176 yards and a TD and threw for 158 yards and two TDs.

2. Marlington (7-0/AP Poll: 1)
Last Week: Playing without RB Dymonte Thomas (undisclosed reasons), the Dukes beat Minerva 27-10. Marlington’s defense came up big with three interceptions and six sacks.

3. Chagrin Falls (6-1/AP Poll: 4)
Last Week: Senior QB Tommy Iammarino threw for three TDs as the Tigers beat Painesville Harvey 55-6. CF scored 28 points in the second quarter to open up a 41-0 halftime lead.

4. Dayton Thurgood Marshall (6-1/AP Poll: 3)
Last Week: The Cougars forced four first half turnovers and led 33-0 at the break en route to a 52-14 win over Jonathan Alder. Senior RB Denzel Norvell ran for 215 yards and three TDs.

5. Akron SVSM (6-1/AP Poll: 6)
Last Week:
The Irish blasted Marion Harding 70-20. SVSM racked up 445 yards of offense and led 49-0 at halftime.

6. Bellevue (6-1/AP Poll: 9)
Last Week: Senior RB Dalton Jarvis scored four TDs and senior QB Jalen Santoro ran for 153 yards and threw for two TDs as the Redmen beat Willard 42-6.

7. Circleville (6-1/AP Poll: 10)
Last Week: The Tigers racked up 635 yards in a 51-14 win over Fairfield Union. QB David Burroughs threw for 157 yards a TD and ran for 194 yards and two TDs.

8. Bryan (7-0/AP Poll: 8)
Last Week: The Golden Bears snapped a 12-game losing streak to Patrick Henry and beat the Patriots for the first time since 1999 with a 32-28 win. How Bryan got the victory is nothing short of amazing. Down 28-13 in the fourth quarter, the Golden Bears rallied with three TDs in the final 5:09 to win the game. Two scores followed successful onside kickoff attempts. QB Austin Schimmoeller led the attack by running for two TDs and throwing for two more.

9. Watterson (4-3/AP Poll: NR)
Last Week: The Eagles held host Ironton to 68 yards rushing in a dominating 42-8 win. RB Walker Green ran for three TDs and QB Andy Elberson ran for two as Watterson rolled up 418 yards, including 363 on the ground.

10. Steubenville (5-2/AP Poll: NR)
Last Week: Hampered by terrible field position – three of its four first half possession started inside its own 10-yardline – Big Red fell behind 24-0 at halftime en route to a 33-7 loss to Ursuline. Steubenville managed just 175 total yards.
