The Power Polls…continue. JJHuddle’s immensely popular state football
rankings return today with the release of the Division I Week 8 poll. A reminder, JJHuddle is proud to announce that the Ohio National Guard has
become the presenting sponsor
of the 2012 rankings.

We will release the remaining Ohio National Guard & JJHuddle Power Polls today and tomorrow.

DIVISION II WEEK 8 RANKINGS

1. Toledo Central Catholic (7-0/AP Poll: 1)
Last Week: The Irish built a 41-0 halftime lead en route to beating Lima Senior 47-7. Senior RB Amir Edwards ran for two TDs and the TCC defense returned two fumbles for scores.

2. Tiffin Columbian (7-0/AP Poll: 3)
Last Week: QB Michael Rohrbach threw for three TDs and the defense limited Shelby to 133 total yards in a 19-0 win over Shelby.

3. Trotwood-Madison (5-2/AP Poll: NR)
Last Week: The Rams rolled up 518 yards of offense and allowed just 160 in a 62-12 win over Greenville. Senior RB Isreal Green ran for 161 yards and junior RB Ashton Jackson ran for 102 (and three TDs) as Trotwood racked up 429 yards rushing. Senior LB/TE Michael McCray had 11 tackles and caught a TD pass.

4. Aurora (6-1/AP Poll: 5)
Last Week:
Senior LB/RB Zach Smieciak had 115 receiving yards (and a TD) and nine tackles as the Greenmen beat Wickliffe 48-7. QB Alec Wells threw for two TDs, while Jake McVay had TDs rushing and receiving.

5. Tri-Valley (7-0/AP Poll: 4)
Last Week: QB Nathan Strock threw for 260 yards and two TDs and RB Austin Jones ran for 173 yards and three TDs as the Scotties beat New Lexington 43-7. TV had 465 yards of offense.

6. Cincinnati Turpin (7-0/AP Poll: 2)
Last Week: QB Connor Jansen ran for four TDs as the Spartans beat Anderson (42-14) for the first time since 1990. Jansen ran for 146 yards and threw for 133 yards as Turpin rolled up 457 yard of offense.

7. New Philadelphia (7-0/AP Poll: 7)
Last Week: The Quakers held Marietta to 70 yards of offense, including minus-19 rushing, in a 34-0 shutout win. It’s New Philly’s second straight shutout. Junior RB Jamal Johnson ran for 117 yards and a TD on 20 carries. He also caught a TD pass.

8. New Albany (5-2/AP Poll: NR)
Last Week: QB Darron Lee and RB Alan Watson each ran for two TDs for the Eagles in a 33-14 win over previously unbeaten Olentangy. NA used a 19-point third quarter to turn a close game (7-0 at the half) into a convincing win.

9. Mansfield Senior (6-1/AP Poll: 10)
Last Week: The Tygers beat previously unbeaten West Holmes 40-29 to improve to 6-1. It’s Mansfield’s best start since 2001. RB Keevon Taylor ran for 167 yards and two TDs, while QB Jalen Reese threw for three TDs.

10. Winton Woods (5-1/AP Poll: NR)
Last Week: Rain, five turnovers and just a 109 total yards of offense spelled doom for the Warriors in a 14-0 loss to Loveland.
