ONG JJH Ohio Player of the Week

Week 6 Winner: Jaylon Brown, St. Clairsville (7,142 votes)
Junior RB scored six TDs in
the Red Devils 58-14 win over Bellaire. Brown ran for 224 yards and
five TDs on 19 carries and caught three passes for 101 yards and another
TD.

Week 6 Runner-Up: Nick Lombardy, Kenston (2,030 votes)
*RB scored six TDs and rushed for 262 yards on 32 carries in a 65-37 win over Orange.

ONG JJH Ohio Team of the Week

Week 6 Winner: Norwalk (19,401 votes)
*The Truckers had their first winning season (7-3) since 1977 last year
and improved to 6-0 this season with a 49-7 win at Shelby – their first
there since 1988. The win is also Norwalk’s largest margin of victory
over the Whippets in Shelby in the modern era. WR Jordan Johnson
accounted for three TDs three different ways (passing, receiving and
rushing).

Week 6 Runner-Up: Coldwater (10,258 votes)
*The Cavs beat archrival St. Henry for the 17th consecutive time dating
back to 1997. Coldwater – playing without its leading rusher (Jordan
Chapin/hamstring) and losing its leading receiver (Caleb Seifring/ankle)
in the first quarter – was led by senior QB Austin Bruns who threw for
two TDs and ran for two more. St. Henry mustered just nine first downs
and 102 total yards.
