The Power Polls…continue. JJHuddle’s immensely popular state football
rankings return today with the release of the Division III Week 7 poll. A reminder, JJHuddle is proud to announce that the Ohio National Guard has
become the presenting sponsor
of the 2012 rankings.

We will release the remaining Ohio National Guard & JJHuddle Power Polls today and tomorrow.

New polls will be unveiled on site every week during the season.

1. Alter (5-0-1)
Last Week: Senior QB Malik Zaire accounted for five TDs and 341 yards in little over a half in a 49-6 win over Hamilton Badin. Zaire completed 11-of-17 passes for 209 yards and three TDs and ran for 132 yards and two TDs on six carries. Alter had 516 yards of offense.

2. Marlington (6-0)
Last Week: Senior RB Dymonte Thomas accounted for five TDs (four rushing) and ran for 249 yards on 25 carries as the Dukes beat Carrollton 34-14.

3. Chagrin Falls (5-1)
Last Week: The Tigers racked up 622 yards of offense in a 59-14 win over Wickliffe. Senior QB Tommy Iammarino threw for five TDs and 275 yards.

4. Dayton Thurgood Marshall (5-1)
Last Week: The Cougars scored 35 points in the first quarter and 32 in the second en route to a 73-0 win over Dayton Meadowdale.  Senior RB Denzel Norvell ran for five TDs.

5. Steubenville (5-1)
Last Week: Big Red rolled to a 33-6 homecoming win over Westinghouse (Pa.). Five different players scored for Steubenville, which had 415 yards of offense. Westinghouse had 60 yards, including minus-6 rushing.

6. Youngstown Mooney (2-3)
Last Week: The Cardinals had a bye. Now the final onslaught begins. Games remain vs St. Edward, vs Erie McDowell (Pa.), at Ursuline and at Austintown-Fitch.

7. Akron SVSM (5-1)
Last Week:
The Irish beat Canal Fulton Northwest 41-7. It was the fifth time this year SVSM scored 40 points or more.

Last Week: RB Layne Perone ran for four TDs as the Knights shut out Orrville 41-0.
