The Power Polls…continue. JJHuddle’s immensely popular state football rankings return today with the release of the Division I Week 6 poll. A reminder, JJHuddle is proud to announce that the Ohio National Guard has become the presenting sponsor of the 2012 rankings.

We will release the remaining Ohio National Guard & JJHuddle Power Polls today and tomorrow.

New polls will be unveiled on site every week during the regular season.

OHIO NATIONAL GUARD & JJH POWER POLL

DIVISION I WEEK 6 RANKINGS

1. Cleveland St. Ignatius (5-0)
Last Week: The Wildcats led McDowell (PA) just 13-10 at halftime but separated themselves with a 21-0 second half en route to a 34-10 win. QB Jake LaManna completed 13-of-20 passes for 246 yards and three TDs.

2. Colerain (5-0)
Last Week:
The Cardinals beat previously unbeaten Sycamore 28-21. QB Alfred Ramsby ran for 141 yards and two TDs on 19 carries.

3. Cincinnati St. Xavier (3-2)
Last Week: Junior QB Nick Tensing threw for 248 yards and four TDs and the Bombers scored on five of their first seven possessions to shock Moeller 49-21. St. X led 35-7 at the half.

4. Lakewood St. Edward (5-0)
Last Week: The Eagles trailed Ursuline at halftime (21-17) but rallied to post a 45-21 win over the Irish. LB Ryan Davis’ school record 94-yard interception return for a TD in the third quarter was the pivotal play. WR Anthony Young also set a school record with a 99-yard kickoff return for a TD in the first quarter.

5. Pickerington North (5-0)
Last Week: Senior Godwin Igwebuike ran for three TDs and returned an interception for another as the Panthers scored the game’s first 45 points en route to a 45-14 win over Lancaster.

6. Dublin Coffman (5-0)
Last Week: The Rocks racked up 452 yards of offense in a 49-10 win over Marysville. QB James Walsh ran for a TD and threw for 303 yards and three TDs (all to WR Austen Rankin).

7. Moeller (4-1)
Last Week: The Crusaders didn’t fair well in a 49-21 loss to St. Xavier. Moeller fell behind 35-7 at halftime and couldn’t rally. RB Keith Watkins ran for 111 yards and a TD on 26 carries.

Last Week: RB Darrin Hall ran for 169 yards and three TDs and QB Matt Futkos threw for 185 yards and two TDs as the Falcons rolled Boardman 52-7.
