The fourth annual JJHuddle/NBC4 Central Ohio Power Poll continues…See who is where after the opening weekend.

This year JJHuddle and NBC4 will again contest separate polls for
Divisions I, II, III and IV. Divisions V and VI will remained combined.


Central Ohio Power Polls: Week 4


1. Pickerington North (3-0)
Result: The Panthers racked up 505 yards of offense and senior RB Godwin Igwebuike went for over 200 yards rushing for the third straight game as Pick North beat Fremont Ross 41-13. Igwebuike carried the ball 15 times for 223 yards and four TDs.

2. Dublin Coffman (3-0)
Result: Senior QB James Walsh completed 23-of-32 passes for 313 yards and three TDs in a 40-7 win over Massillon Perry.

Result: Tigers had a bye.

4. Westerville South (3-0)
Result: The Wildcats racked up 515 yards offense and used a 21-point third quarter to beat Grove City 42-20.

Result: The Panthers fell one yard shy of reaching 500 in total offense (499) in a 56-22 win over Toledo St. John’s. RB Chase Longwell led the way with 160 yards and three TDs on 20 carries.

1. Marion-Franklin (2-1)
Result: Down 3-0 at halftime, senior QB Corry Benson powered the Red Devils to a 28-3 win over Canal Winchester. Benson threw for 222 yards and three TDs and ran for 71 yards and a TD.

2. Tri-Valley (3-0)
Result: The Scotties opened up a 48-0 halftime lead and cruised to a 62-7 win over West Muskingum. Senior RB Austin Jones scored four TDs.

Result: Eagles rebounded from two disappointing losses by blowing out DeSales 56-22. RB Alan Watson returned the opening kickoff 93 yards for a TD and then rushed for four more.

Result: The Rangers opened up a 45-7 lead on Bexley before sealing the deal 45-21. Aaron Williams ran for two TDs, including one that covered 74 yards.

Result: The Blue Devils recorded an impressive road win with a 48-27 victory at Hamilton Ross.

Result: Eagles made enough plays to edge Walsh Jesuit 13-7 in an ugly offensive game. Watterson had 211 yards of offense. Walsh had 198. A huge test awaits this week at Winton Woods.

Result: The Blue Aces Ended Jackson’s 21-game regular season unbeaten streak with a 28-14 road win. Senior QB David Fraley threw for 242 yards and three TDs, including two in the fourth quarter to break a 14-14 tie.

Result: The Generals ran for 342 yards in a 35-13 win over Morgan.

Result: The Pioneers got manhandled at home by Clinton-Massie 49-7. Alder allowed 425 yards of offense and turned the ball over five times, two of which Massie returned for TDs.

Result: The Stallions rolled up 317 yards of offense but it wasn’t nearly enough in a 56-22 loss to New Albany.

Result: The Hawks beat East Knox 50-7. JaWuan Woodley (139 yards) and Marcellus Calhoun (109) each ran for two TDs and Jared Brandewie threw for two.

Result: The Wildcats went over 50 points for the second time this season and rolled Galion Northmor 56-6.

Result: The Mustangs won their second straight game after trailing by double-digits in the fourth quarter. Westfall scored two TDs in the final 2:30, including the game winner on a 25-yard pass from Trent Williamson to Luke Cline with two seconds left, to edge Circleville 42-41. On the night, Williamson threw for three TDs, ran for two more and added two 2-point conversions (one running, one passing).

Result: The Silver Knights beat Briggs 49-6. QB Matt Yoho only completed four passes but two went for TDs.
